School

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Ugh school starts today, I hate going to school. I am only in 10th grade. I drag myself out of bed and go get changed. I wear black jeans, a black and white tee-shirt, a black jacket, and black boots. I do my makeup next.

"Tris hurry up we are going to be late for school!" My brother, Caleb yells at me though the door.

"I am coming right now!" I yell back as I walk to the door. I head down stairs grab a apple and head outside to the car. We drive a ocean blue jeep with black leather. When I get in Caleb is already there. In about 10 minutes we are there at school. I say bye to Caleb and head to the office to get my schedule.

"Tris I got your schedule right here" says Tori. She runs the office, she also is the school nurse. Tori is a nice person though.

"Thanks" I replay. I look at my schedule to see

French 1st period

Math 2nd period

Gym 3rd period

English 4th period

Lunch 5th period

Study hall 6th period

Science 7th period

Art 8th period

I then go to my locker and get my stuff for French. Then go to class. On my way to class I run in to a wall and fall over. I look up to see that wall was a tall boy with blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and a firm jawline.

"Sorry!" I say then roll over to get my books that fell beside me.

"Let me help you with that" The blonde boy says. He then helps me get my books.

"I'm Tris!" I say putting out my arm after I get all my books back together.

"Four!" He says in a low voice and a half smile, " Where are you going?"

"French" I replay.

"Same can you show me where to go?" Four says, " I'm new here."

"Yeah sure!" Once we get to class there is only two seats open in the back. So we sit together, French goes by in a blur. Same with math and now we have gym. I haven't seen four since 1st period. I wonder if he is in my gym class. When I get to class I take off my jeans and jacket and put on shorts. I then head out to class, we do our warm ups. Then we play basketball. I then see four is on the other team.

"Ready to be beat!" Says Four.

"I'm not going to be beat!" I say back then we go back to our teams. We win the jump ball and score a point. Once we only have 5 minutes left of class we are tied at 20 to 20. I am shootings free throw because Four hit me when I was shooting. I still made it though and now if I make this shot we win the game. I shot and make it. We won! Yeah! I then go get changed back into my jeans. After English I head to lunch. In gym I told Four to sit with us. So now we are walking down to the lunch room. We head to our table where Uriah, Will, Zeke, Christina, Lynn, Marlene, and Shuana sit. I sit down by Uriah and Four sits down on the other side of me.

"Guys this is Four," I says to the group," Four this is Uriah, Will, Zeke, Christina, Lynn, Marlene, and Shuana." I point to them as I say their name.

"Welcome to Divergent high!" Says Zeke.
