Chapter 9- Straight Out Of A Fairytale Eva's POV
"We're here." Sebastian said as he got off his bike, taking his helmet off, as did I.
We were walking through an umber-brown forest, the grass was crispy under our feet. As I looked up, I saw trees the size of skyscrapers. The forest reeked of age and it was obvious that it was ancient, but boy was it breathtaking.
I could spend my entire life here.
"Wow." I silently muttered as I followed Sebastian through the forest. "You like it?" he asked me while walking down the muddy path. "Like it? LIKE IT? Bitch, liking it is an understatement." I said as he chuckled.
After a while, we reached a small oak-brown tree house. It was nestled in one of the large trees with a hundred lanterns lighting it up on each side of the bridge that lead to it. Fairy lights wrapped around the treehouse and the rest of the trees surrounding it, making it look like something straight out of a fairytale.

"Sebastian, this place is so beautiful. How did you find it?" I asked as I gawked at the the breathtaking view in front of me.
"It used to be my dad and I's hangout spot." Sebastian muttered. "Used to be?" I questioned while turning around to face him.
"My dad's in jail." He said. Although his words should have been laced with sorrow and sadness, they held so much distaste and bitterness. I turned around to face him, only to see his emotionless features.
"I-I'm sorry." I touched his arm in a comforting manner. He peeled my arm off his. "Let's go." He harshly stated. Oop, I guess I hit a nerve.
He carefully made his way over the bridge and into the tree house. "Um, Sebastian?" I called him. "Mhm?" "Is it a bad time to tell you that I have an isty-bitsy fear of heights? Like only a tiny fear of heights?" I nervously said.
"You run your mouth all day about being a Badass, but you're scared to cross a bridge?." He smirked. "Oh, shut up." I told him before he grabbed me from my legs and threw me over his shoulder. "Do I look like a sack of potatoes?" I cried.
"Yes, yes you do." He walked towards the treehouse. "If you think that's an insult, well, Jackass, hate to break it to you, but it's not." I rolled my eyes even though I knew he couldn't see me.
He put me down when we reached the porch and then he opened the door, revealing a beautiful two-story room with a small tarnished black ladder leading to the second floor.
There were two small leather chairs placed in front of a cute fireplace with a TV placed above it. Next to the TV, there was a small desk with a bunch of books placed on shelves.
