1995 - Lily's POV:
A couple days has passed. Then something happened. Of course. Something ALWAYS has to happen. In one of the kitchen drawers, Gran found a bracelet. Mum's bracelet that I made for her birthday in the future.
"Whose is this?" Gran asks. "I made it for my mum in the future. I don't know how it got there." I say. "Wait! I've got it! What if the drawer is like the vanishing cabinet?" Scorpius asks, snapping his fingers. "The what?" James asks. "The vanishing cabinet is a cabinet that connects to another place. Meaning when you put something in it, it goes to the other place where its connected." Rose explains.
I pull out my mirror. "Daddy? Are you there?" I ask. A couple seconds later, I see daddy's face on the mirror screen. "Daddy!" I exclaim. "Hi lily-flower. Are you alright?" He asks. I nod. "Did mom lose her bracelet I made for her?" I ask. "How did you know?" Daddy asks.
Everyone starts coming down for breakfast. "Scorpius has an idea." I say, handing it to him. He takes it to a corner and starts to talk to him. I remember daddy told us about the vanishing cabinet in his 6th year. Scorpius didn't want to reveal what would happen.
After a couple minutes, Scorp walks back. "They said they would try to send a test subject, to make sure they are actually connected. Then they will try to find another time turner and put it through the drawer. They said that they want to come, but it's too dangerous and they might get stuck in a different time and they won't be able to reach you." Scorpius explains. In the afternoon, they showed me what they were going to bring as the test subject. It was a hair brush. I think it was mum's old one. It was red and gold.
They put it into the drawer at our house in the future. "Why don't we just make the drawer bigger and get home?" Louis asks. "Because its ancient magic. It's probably been in the Black family for years." Roxy said. "Let's hope we can get home." Victoire says.
