Ash
Im getting kind of worried, as it is 15 minutes into our lunch time and there is no sign of Taylor, But as soon as I check the clock one last time, he silently arrives and sits next to me with his head down.
"H-hey."
I can tell his words are forced. Like it almost hurts to speak.I gently tilt his chin to make him look up at me and he drops his eyes to the floor.
"Taylor, what happened?!"
His lip is covered in dried blood.
"Jace" he sniffles.
"I didn't go to class.. And when I cleaned up my lip it started bleeding again." he explains slowly.
"Okay. C'mon, lets go to the bathroom."
I take his hand and lead him back inside the school. After Taylor is cleaned up, we headed to our next class but are stopped by a very jolly Jace.
"Long time no see, T-bear" he coos.
"Not long enough." I mutter.
"Awe, and you brought your little boyfriend this time. How sweet." he smirks.
"He's not my.." Taylor whispers, eyes on the ground.
"And what if I was?! What would you do? Stupid prick, you cant beat the gay out of someone. And I bet he could still get a girlfriend faster than you." I yell.
"I do have a girlfr-" he starts.
"I said girlfriend not slut." I shot back.
I reach out my hand, which Taylor willingly takes in his and we walk to our next class in silence. The rest of the day flys by and Taylor stays fairly quiet and close to me.
I have no problem being near him.
This way I can keep and eye on him easily.
