"You often meet ur fate on the road u take to avoid it",

Saira sighed as Granny fixed her traditional outfit for the millionth time. It had been more than an hour that Granny had started styling and fixing Saira. Today! Granny and She were receiving special guests for dinner and Granny wanted to make sure that Saira would look the best infront of them therefore, Granny herself prepared her. The maids could also do it but the grandmother wanted to spend some time with her grand daughter. And most importantly today they were wearing indian outfits.
"Are we done?", Saira groaned.
"Yeah, just let me straighten the dupatta and then we would be finally done", Granny kept working on the dress.
"You are getting me dressed up as if am gonna see up some guy for marriage", Saira said.
Granny stopped and threw her a fake glance and then started doing her work again.
"U're mouth is slithering a lot these days", Granny said.
"What! That was simply humor! Take a chill pill granny", Saira grinned and winked.
Granny smiled and shook her head. After a while of fixing and pinning finally she was ready.
Her granny and she wanted it to be simple but beautiful so she didn't wore any bold dark colour instead she slayed with the white silky netted kurti along with a sparkling light golden dupatta.
And the maids, gave her face a touch of natural makeup.
Saira went downstairs to the living room to find her Granny instructing the servants. She approached her.
"Oh, You're glowing my child", Granny kissed her forehead.
"Not more than you!", They both chuckled.
"They would be here any moment", Granny said and Saira nodded.
She went and took a seat on the sofa. She unlocked her phone to find new text from Jagvi.
Jigy~Migy 💍 : Sry Iraaaa.....Won't b able 2 make it ton8 😥 Jus Caught wid sm last moment signing wrk. Tmrw mrng will be there 4 sure 😉
Socializing in personal parties and gatherings wasn't Saira's cup of tea at all. You may find it weird but Saira was more poised in professional meetings rather in personal ones. She found the dinner bothering. And when Granny mentioned them as 'Special Guests' she didn't know if she was going to survive the dinner decently . On top of that, Jagvi had to go to the farmhouse which was owned by her grandparents here for some business matter today only and now as she texted she will be back tomorrow morning. Saira was worried if she would be mannered or end up being awkward and messy!
