Runaway Chase saves the PAW Patrol (HCIC Series Part 1)

The pups all woke up at their own times, mostly around 10:00 AM. They all walked to the Lookout confused as to why they woke up at this time.

"I guess Chase is too depressed to even wake us up." Rocky said.

"Yeah, he's probably still sleeping. Let's not disturb him today." Rubble suggested and they all nodded except for Skye.

Skye was worried sick about Chase, not only because of what she said, also because she has feelings for him too.

"Why didn't Chase wake us up Ryder? Is he okay?" Skye asked. They all saw Ryder with tears in his eyes.

"He.....he......" Ryder was speechless, he gave Marshall a piece of paper with a message.

Dear Ryder and the pups,

By the time you are reading this, I'm probably miles from Adventure Bay on my own. I left my puptag, my vehicle and gear so you can't track or contact me. Anyways, I decided to quit the Paw Patrol, I guess I realized that what I do to you pups has made you hate me. I mean, who wouldn't hate a serious and selfish pup who hogs your games, wakes you up so early in the morning and makes you do tiring exercises? So I ran away, since that's what you all wanted. But I don't want you thinking that I left because I don't love you all, it's actually because I do. Take care of Ryder and Adventure Bay for me.

I'm sorry.

P.S: You can all tell Tracker to take my place at the Lookout, I know Skye would be happy with him around all day. Can't say I'm not jealous about that, hehe.

They all started to cry, especially Skye.

"I'm guessing he saw you two in the jungle while you were looking for him." Marshall said.

"This is all my fault, I was too harsh with my words, and my actions." Skye said.

They all ate breakfast silently, but Skye was still teary-eyed.

They didn't have any missions today, so they all went about their businesses. Skye went to her puphouse to think of how to find Chase.

As she laid down, she saw a piece of paper stuck to her wall. It was Chase's message to her.

Skye,

I want you to know that I don't and will never have any anger towards you. You yelling at me may have broken a part of me, but it would never make me hate you. That's why I ran away, I guess I thought that by running away you and the pups would be happy again. I would do anything to get back the sparkle of those magenta eyes of yours, and your beautiful smile.

I will never forget you, and I love you.

This just made Skye cry a lot more. She thought of all the times she and Chase spent together.

"Chase.......I'm sorry.........and I love you too."
