Anyways, this part of the story happened simultaneously with the last chapter. I just wanted to make that clear. ——————————————————
It was a sunny day in Adventure Bay, the pups were woken up by Ryder instead.
"Pups, it's time to wake up!" Ryder said.
They quickly bolted up, thinking it was Chase waking them up.
"CHASE!!" They all yelled as they ran for his puphouse.
Their happy and excited expressions quickly turned into dark and gloomy frowns in an instant. Ryder walked up to them.
"Sorry pups, that was me." Ryder said.
They all looked down since Chase hasn't been in the Lookout for three days.
"I-It's time for breakfast, come on." Ryder motioned them into the dining room.
Some ate slowly while some were too sad to even eat at all, they just poked at their food.
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, pups. Go ahead and eat up." Ryder said but they didn't respond.
"*sighs*I miss Chase too. Actually I can't see anything the same without him. But I know he would say the same to you pups to eat up, please." He added.
"Okay" They all sighed.
"Good, because I have an announcement to make that might just cheer you up." They were all intrigued by this and started to eat faster.
Once breakfast was over, they all went up the elevator and got into position. They looked at the place where Chase would usually sit. It was empty, just it had been for the past days.
"I really wish Chase was here right now." Marshall said.
"Yeah, he knows how to make ouw missions mowe action-packed." Zuma added.
"And the way he starts us off with his catchphrase. I miss that." Rubble said.
"I wish he was here so I could say I was sorry. Sorry for yelling at him after the soccer game that day. That's the reason he ran away." Skye explained.
"Yeah. I would wake up early everyday for the rest of my life if it means he'll come back to us." Rocky added.
"And I would control my appetite and run laps around the Lookout all day just to get him to say "Good Job!" to me ." Rubble added.
