*Soft Rain* Serizawa × Reader

[A/N]: This is supposed to be mainly a calming fanfic, no angst, mild danger, and tons of fluff. <3
This was just supposed to be drabble, but I decided to fix it up and post it.

A casual walk.
That's all you wanted.
You sigh and continue through the rain and on your way to work, breathing in the hazy air.
The rain shushed your thoughts and kept you calm. You watched the ground as you walked, you felt quite mentally numb and your head was a fuzzy mess. Freezing droplets fell on your head, stinging you out of thoughts.
"I'll get a cold..." You sniff.
You looked at the sign of your workplace 'Spirits and Such Consultations'. You paused and headed inside.
Dimple was outside the door, the first to greet you, "Hey (Y/N)! How've you-... You look awful.."
You were soked and pitiful-looking, it was considerably hard to look at you.
You didn't respond, you just let out a cute sneeze. Dimple sighs, "I was wondering where you were, hoped you didn't get run over or something." He joked, snickering a bit as you opened the door.
Reigen heard the door open and looked up, "Damn, what happened to you?"
"Nothing... Just a little tired, I guess. And I got caught in the rain, left my apartment without an umbrella.."
You took a seat on the couch and shivered.
Reigen then took off his coat and gently placed it over you, you held it close to try to get warmer quicker.
"I'll get you some tea." He said before turning away from you.
Serizawa opened the door, he blushed, "Ah! (Y/N)! I was looking all over for you!" He closed his umbrella and fiddled with his hands.
"Sorry, I'm so late.. I slept in..." You spoke.
"No need to apologize, everyone has those days!" He smiled.
You smiled back, before wincing and sneezing again.
His blushed darkened a bit at your small squeak, "Bless you."
You nod and pat the spot next to you, he sits down.
He spoke up again, "So what's really going on, (Y/N)-san?"
"I'm a little tired of existing is all.. I'll get over it. I'm just bored with life, y'know.." You sigh quietly, looking away.
Reigen came back and placed some green tea on the table, "Careful, it's hot." He warned.
"Thank you, Reigen." You smiled weakly and he gave an empathetic smile back before sitting back down and working on his computer.
"W-well, if you ever want to talk, call me. I'll even go to yo-your apartment if you want me to." He hesitated and started to fidget again, looking down and blushing.
"I would like that..." Your smile brightens slightly, he looked at you for a moment before turning red.
"A-ah uh.. Y-yeah!! Of course!!" He internally faceplamed.
You blew on your tea and took a sip.
Mob entered and closed his umbrella, "Nice to see you, (L/N)-chan." He bowed.
You waft your hand, "Don't treat me so formally, I told you before, you can call me (Y/N)."
"My apologies, I'll try my best to remember." He walks to his seat and continues, "You were late, me and Serizawa searched for you, where were you?" Mob asked, pulling out his chair, "Yeah, Serizawa was especially worried sick!" Dimple added.
Serizawa hid blush on his face with his hands, "Ah.. Don't bring it up, you know I overthink things.." His voice was muffled behind his large hands.
"I was sleeping in, it was an accident." You spoke, taking another sip of the tea and situating yourself under the jacket.
Reigen spoke up, "It's fine, there won't be many clients today anyway, go ahead and rest for now." He smiled
"Thank you.." You yawned quietly as your eyes slowly flutter closed. You lean onto Serizawa's shoulder. He made it a priority to stay there and not wake you up, he seemed stiff, but you were to tired to care. You dozed off.

A client came in soon after, as much as your coworkers bugged you to stay in the office, you declined since it was your job.
You were about to head out into the cold rain when Serizawa grabbed your shoulder softly. You turn to him, his umbrella was open and he smiled at you, "Here, I don't want you getting more sick than you already are." He giggles slightly and gently pulls you closer to him as you both walk out the door.
You were walking on the sidewalk keeping close to Serizawa, Reigen insisted you keep the jacket if you're heading out with them. You kept it on your shoulders, but it was a little too oversized for your liking, even though it kept you comfy.
"Hey, you're still getting wet, y'know." Dimple pointed out, you look to see your shoulder getting hit with small droplets, "Oh.."
Serizawa noticed and held his arm over your shoulder to pull you closer once again, "You don't have to be afraid to get close to me, you need to stay dry anyway." He spoke with a small smile.
"I'm sorry, thank you." You spoke quietly and held onto his his arm, he stiffened and turned a slight scarlet,
"A-ah, n-n-no problem, (Y/N)-chan!!"

You got to the small house the client was claiming there was spiritual activity in. You decide to make the first move on the large, strong spirit, but because your cold made you weaker, it backfired and you were captured by it. It slightly flung you as it grabbed out and you accidentally drop Reigen's jacket. You whimpered frantically, trying to get out of the ghost's grasp.
Reigen gasped, "I knew she shouldn't have made a move, it wasn't a good idea to bring her into the danger!"
"Reigen, it's ok!" Within no time at all Serizawa excorsized the evil spirit, catching you from the long fall with a small huff, he held you bridaly.
"A-are you alright, (Y/N)? Nothing badly injured?" He asked in a worried manner.
You smirked before laughing loudly, "How thrilling! I should call you to save me more often!" You spoke playfully, "I'm just fine!" You say with a smile.
He blushed a bit, "What a relief.." He held you closer to him and sighed.
Mob gave a small smile, he secretly hoped you both would end up together, so he decided to not hurt the spirit to get you and Serizawa closer.
Reigen smiled, happy that you're safe and gestured outside, grabbing his jacket from the floor, "Alrighty, let's get out of here!"
Serizawa put you down and Reigen dusted off the jacket and put it back over you and patted your shoulders.
When you exited the house, it began to rain harder and you immediately clinged to Serizawa under his umbrella before he could even ask. You seemed a lot more happy after the small scare. He blushed a bit, noticing you nudged closer to him than before.
Reigen smirked, "You seem peppy all the sudden.."
You blush, it was the first time Serizawa saw you like that, he looked away, turning a slight red.
You pout "Excuse me for getting enjoyment out of my job.."
Dimple laughs, "Just your job?"
"Well..." You began, looking up at Serizawa who was still turned away from you gaze.
Both Reigen and Dimple smirked at each other, knowing fully well how you felt.
You looked back at them, they looked at you with the same smirk.
"I see what's going on..~" Reigen cooed.
You turned a darker red, "Don't. Say. A word."
They both snickered to themselves.
Serizawa looked down to you, finally finding the courage to say something, "E-everything ok, (Y/N)?"
Your blush was still present when you looked over to him, "Yeah, of course.." You spoke in an unusually soft tone, making him grip his umbrella a little tighter and smile nervously.

With a long day of Reigen and Dimple's teasing and all the exorcising made you tired. Mob headed home along with Dimple. Serizawa was sitting next to you on the couch, your eyes were struggling to stay open. He chuckled, watching you nod off.
Reigen spoke up, "Feel free to head home, we aren't gonna have any exorcisms this late."
You yawned loudly, Serizawa yawned along with you.
Reigen laughed a bit as you both got ready, "Have a nice night." He smiled.
You both smiled back and answered in unison, "You too!" You both look at each other and giggle. Serizawa took you to your apartment, chatting along the way, telling jokes and stories.

It was 1:00am you sighed deeply, you couldn't sleep. After a bit of thinking you called Serizawa. He picked up immediately to your surprise, "(Y/N)? Is everything alright?" His voice didn't seem the slightest bit drowsy.
"... Can you sleep?"
He laughed over the phone, "Ironically no, I'm not able to."
"Wanna hang out?"
His voice changed into a nervous pitch, "U-uhm.. I'd love to come over!! I'll be there soon!"
"Can't wait!"
...
You plopped back into bed with a sigh.

Serizawa got there to find you sprawled on the bed, asleep. He took off a jacket he had on, revealing a white t-shirt and baggy dark pants. He took off his crocs, placing them next to your shoes, smiling as he came over to lay down next to you, he wrapped is arms around you and gently pulled your back closer to his chest. It woke you up, you hummed with your eyes still closed, "Seri?" You reached back and ruffled his hair.
"Yeah, I'm here." He he nuzzled his head into your back, becoming sleepy himself.
You yawned and fell asleep as fast as you woke up. He was too tired to feel bashful over his actions, he leaned forward to kiss your cheek, "Goodnight, (Y/N).. I Love you..." He smiled, before falling asleep along with you.
