Stephanie and Josh

"So why don't orphans play baseball?" Stephanie asked with a giggle. Her hair was in the neatest of buns and she looks so exquisite with little Jew curls hanging near her ear.

"I don't know An... I mean Stephanie, why don't they play?" Josh said. The mere thought of calling Anna's name made his heart started rushing like if he was a cheating man trying to save a relationship.
"Well, they don't play because they don't know where home is," Stephanie said as she bursts out laughing at her own joke. "That is dark Steph, you need help," Josh said as he chuckled along with her.

"The stable looks pretty clean today, doesn't it?" Josh said with a turned head, "that's new isn't it." He continued.

"Josh your observation skill is an ass, just thought you should know, the stable is still crap. If I didn't know any better, rich, snobby sluts are always in there."
"Steph, you are in there too you know." He said with a plain expression.
"I never said I wasn't guilty. Just so you know everyone in law is deceitful, so be careful. We do what we need to do to win, it's a dog eat dog world Josh and you know that." As she took his hands into hers, she said, "I hope we can spend some more time together before I go."
" What! where are you going?"

" I am graduating this year, you know that right?" she said looking down at his shoes, twiddling her thumbs over his hands.
"Why the long face, you don't have to be sad, I am just a passing phase for you and for being my friend and a virgin. I would like to give you a parting gift, so meet me at noon at the front of the law building. I want to take you somewhere." she said with a sexy smirk.

Stephanie gave him a quick kiss in the open, he felt like he had died and his reincarnation had been complete. He felt better than Michael Jackson around little boys. This kiss felt so different. It was an all-new sensation. The cherry scent Chapstick was delicious as he bit her lower lip as she kissed him.

"I will see you later Josh," she said as she walks away. Josh felt like all the pain he had felt for Anna was nothing. She was right, it was puppy love.

Walking that straight path through UG to head to his faculty, passing all those buildings, he saw everything brighter and the smile on his face stayed there. What was this feeling? It couldn't be love, he swore that he would prove Anna wrong and showed her that what he felt was not puppy love but could it now be possible? she isn't here, so having feelings for another isn't a crime. In fact, it is living, it's just being human.
