"Welcome to Inner Groove Soph. I hope you like it here; all we really do is hang out and work with the few customers that find their way into the shop so it's not too rough for a seventeen year old with no working experience" Sara joked as I fixed my name tag. I was really just taking in the atmosphere of the place at the moment.

It had a coffee shop-like charm to it, which I found quite cute. There were some tables near the window, and the rows of cds and vinyls were set up like any other. There weren't very many record shops like this anymore which I loved.

"I might as well be at home then," I started as a boy walked in. "I'm already enjoying myself. Thanks for hiring me by the way." I finished, looking at the time: 6 pm. Just two hours until closing time. "No, yeah, it's fine. Pleasure to have you. Since there's a customer here I might as well give you the break down of what we do when they're looking around. If it was anyone else I would greet them, asking if they are looking for a certain album, genre etc." I cut her off by asking why she didn't do the same with the white-haired lad. "He's been coming here for about three months now. At the beginning I'd ask but it's basically routine now. He comes in every day at 6. He looks around for fifteen minutes then leaves. He hasn't bought one thing yet - it's amazing" she finished off. I nodded my head and looked at the boy curiously. He stayed near the back corner of the store, looking at random albums and such.

"That's cool." I wasn't trying to dig deeper into the conversation because he was just a customer like any other. The time was 6:15 and, as if on queue, the boy walked out. I tried to make it seem as if I wasn't watching him / I didn't care but as soon as his eyes met mine I knew I'd blew it. So much for trying to be chill about it. It's not like I cared much for him, but he was sort of intriguing I guess.

The rest of the day was bland. There were three to four more customers but overall this place seemed to be dead most the time. There were only three workers besides me - a girl named Payton, and two boys named Ashton and Noah. Payton and Ashton are together and Noah is as straight as Ashton's hair from what I picked up in the short time I was with them. We all got along okay, I wouldn't consider any of them my best friends, and Sara is cool too. They act like my friends that I normally hang out with; laid back and accepting of people no matter what they look like or how they walk/talk or any of that bullshit that some people get judged about.

When closing time came I said goodbye to everyone. I apologized to Sara for only being able to come for 2 hours and she said it was alright and that if I wanted to make more money, staying only two hours wasn't going to help.

That was pretty much that - I walked home because I lived down the street from the place and got on multiple social media apps. I mainly got on Twitter and Vine but checked Instagram to see if anything new was going on, which there wasn't. I then put on my sleep station on Pandora and fell asleep after two hours of listening to it.

Sorry this chapter is so short and bland I just wanted to get it posted to show that I will actually be continuing this story. I hope you enjoyed this and I'm really looking forward to this story as I have a lot of ideas for it.
Also I'll probably update once every one to two weeks or something considering I do have a life just like most people and I won't be able to whip up good quality updates every other day. The chapters will get longer and hopefully the quality will get better. The author's notes will get shorter as well. Alright bye guys, I hope your day is/was great and that you get to meet your favorite band and hug them for a long ass time. [or again if you've already met them]
