I know I said that I would update every one to two weeks but with break I got real lazy I apologize... I promise I'll update more frequently and better quality like I said before. Okay, continue reading :)

It had been two months since I had seen the (now blue-haired) boy for the first time. I had no idea what his name was considering I decided not to try to spark any conversation with him yet. But, boy, did I want to. Something about him was different. I mean why go into a store every day for five months just to look at the same thing a million times but not buy any of it? I just didn't get it. Smurf Boy (a nickname Noah had come up with a few days ago) was supposed to be here in like two minutes. I didn't care that much though. He was a normal customer like the rest... Right?

The two minutes passed and Smurf Boy came in and went to the same corner everyone had become accustomed to seeing him in. I picked up a few loose vinyls and decided to play it off as if I needed to put them back, well I did need to put them back but that's not the point.

"Sorry, I need to put these away." I gestured towards the stack of vinyls that sat supported by my arm.

The boy moved without even looking at me nor saying a word.

"Thanks..." I said under my breath. I knelt down and the boy reached over me to pull out a vinyl of Green Day's first album. I put the stack away and got back to my feet. I made eye contact with him for a second while smiling slightly then turned back towards the back of the shop where the rest of the workers sat.

'Start out small' I thought to myself as my mind wandered to the hazel eyes of the boy. They were so gorgeous I wasn't sure how I managed to look away. Thank god I did or that would've made for a very awkward first impression.

It was 6:07 when I finally realized that I left Smurf Boy alone with the records and also that we don't have a security system. I quickly got up from my position on the carpet and walked to the front. To say I felt relief when I saw his fringe in the corner of the store would be an understatement. I let out a huge sigh, maybe too huge considering it triggered Smurf Boy to look at me weirdly.

I laughed awkwardly then explained: "Sorry I was a little worried that you stole something because you were alone and we don't have a security system..." I finished while looking away causing the intense staring contest to end.

"You lose" Smurf Boy said lightly while chuckling softly.

"Yeah yeah, judge a girl because she can't keep eye contact to save her life."

I turned my phone on to check the time; 6:14.

"I guess I should get going... Talk to you later..." he said not knowing my name.

"Sophie."

"Talk to you later Sophie."

"Bye.."

"Michael, or Mikey. I don't really care."

"See you later Michael" I said laughing as I waved to him because he blew me a kiss on the way out. He was pretty open, which I wasn't expecting at first. I liked that. As the day progressed I could only imagine what tomorrow would bring.

The next day had come, meaning I had to go to school. School didn't suck but I'm the type of person who would much rather travel instead of be stuck with people I'd forget about in five years and learn things I would forget in about two. I was in grade 11 meaning I still had to attend school for another year after this one.

None of this would have mattered if I hadn't seen the infamous Michael Last Name Unknown there. Everything was good until 5th period / lunch. I was eating a chip (fry if you're American) while listening to Cherry Wine by Hozier when it happened. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a blue fringe pop through the cafeteria doors. It was Michael. The thing is that he had never been seen at this school before now. I couldn't help but take a few glances at Michael as he went to talk to Ashton who transferred to the school at the beginning of the year.

Again, I shrugged it off because it was none of my business what Ashton and him got up to.
Soon enough lunch ended along with the school day, bringing me to work.

Ashton called in sick and Payton is in Canada for a year to catch up with relatives and fix some things in her life right now so she wasn't at work either.

I changed the song playing throughout the store to Come a Little Closer by Cage the Elephant.

Michael wouldn't come for another hour so it was just Noah and I in the shop because Sara had something to do. I began singing along to the lyrics while bobbing my head around and Noah took notice. He joined in after laughing at how into the song I was.

"Shut up this is my favorite part oh my god" I laughed as I closed my eyes. I swayed along as the words 'Ten thousand people stand alone now. And in the evening the sun sets, tomorrow it will rise. Time flies by, they all sang along. Time flies by, they all sang along. Time flies by they all sang along. Time flies - bye bye.'

I opened my eyes once again with a huge smile on my face and said "Okay now we can sing again."

It went on like that, just Noah and I busting out awful moves and singing off pitch or singing at the top of our lungs until the clock hit 6. Michael walked in and did his thing. I walked over to him and sparked up a conversation about how he was at my school today.

"Hey why do you come here anyways? You never buy anything.. Must get pretty boring after a while.." I voiced my thoughts while reading the back of a random album I had picked up.

It took a bit for Michael to respond considering he wanted to finish listening to the song first but when he did he said "One day I'll buy something. But for now you get to watch me walk around the store aimlessly for fifteen minutes."
