Love Poem?

There was a boy,
Who brought me joy.
He had eyes the colour of coffee,
And he was sweeter than toffee.
He had long dark hair,
He kinda reminded me of a teddy bear.

There was a girl,
She was pretty as a pearl.
She liked playing a video game,
That required her to have a really great aim.
She once took me swimming,
And I couldn't stop grinning.

There was a lady,
My memory of her is a bit hazy.
We shared Math and Latin,
And I remember she was tough like an old ship captain.
She was tall as a tree,
And a year older than me.

There was a man,
And falling in love with him was never part of my plan.
He had hair the colour of honey,
And almost all of his jokes were funny.
He listened to every word I said,
And pushed away the mean thoughts that lived inside of my head.
