After the whole Hero Killer incident, Midoriya, Todoroki and Iida were sent to the Hosu General Hospital since they were all injured.
All of them were sitting on their hospital beds, their injuries wrapped in bandages. Iida, however, had more serious injuries.
"Were you able to sleep, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked.
"No, not really." Midoriya replied.
"I didn't think so. Me neither." Todoroki said.
"Thinking about it now, we did something amazing, huh?" Midoriya said.
"Yeah." Todoroki replied.
"Seeing an ending like that really makes you feel like it's a miracle we're alive." He said before looking at his injured leg, wrapped around in bandages. "With my leg like this, he probably could've killed us if he'd wanted to."
"Yeah. We were obviously left alive on purpose. You're amazing to have been able to face him after all the murderous intent directed at you." He said, looking at Iida.
"No, that's not it." Iida replied. He fell silent for a few seconds. "I..."
Suddenly, the doors opened, revealing the Pro Heroes Manual and Gran Torino. "Oh, are you wounded kids awake?" Gran Torino said.
"Gran Torino!" Midoriya called out.
"Manual..." Iida said.
"Kid, I've got a lot of complaints for you." Gran Torino said as he approached Midoriya.
"Oh! S-Sorr-" Midoriya said before being interrupted.
"But before that, you've got a visitor." Gran Torino said.
And as if on cue, another person walked through the door. He was quite a huge person. Or should I say, huge canine?
Midoriya opened his mouth in shock to seeing this person.
"Hosu's chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae." Gran Torino introduced.
'Tsuragamae! Ch-Chief!' Midoriya thought in shock.
Both Iida and Todoroki stood up in response to being in the presence of a police official. Midoriya was about to stand too before being interrupted.
"Oh, you can just stay seated, woof." He said, adding "woof" at the end.
'"Woof"!' Midoriya thought in shock.
"You must be the U.A. students who brought down the Hero Killer, right?" He asked.
"Yes." Todoroki answered. 'The chief of police came all this way... Why?'
"Regarding the Hero Killer we arrested... He had fairly serious injuries, with burns and broken bones, and is receiving treatment under strict guard, woof." He said, adding "woof" at the end of his sentence again.
"Since you are U.A. students, I'm sure you already know that when superpowers were still becoming the norm, the police attached high importance to leadership and standards and made sure Quirks were not used as weapons. And then, the profession of "Hero" emerged to fill that gap, woof." The Chief said.
"For an individual's use of force and power that can easily kill others- actions that normally would be appropriate to denounce- to be accepted officially is thanks to early Heroes who followed the ethics and rules of the profession, woof."
"Even up against the Hero Killer, for uncertified individuals to cause injury with their Quirks without specific instructions from their guardians or supervisors is a clear violation of the rules. The three of you, and the Pro Heroes Endeavor, Manual and Gran Torino must receive strict punishment."
