Chapter 7: U.A. Sports Festival Part 4

"It's time for the third match! The new student transfer who can manipulate the elements themselves! From the hero course, Boboiboy! Versus- Fully equiped with support items! From the support course, Mei Hatsume!" Present Mic announced. "Ready... Start!"

"Elemental Power! Boboiboy Lightning! Lightning Blades!" He then immediately went to attack but to his surprise, she dodged. He tried to attack over and over again but she dodged everytime.

"As you can see, I can easily evade his fast attacks with my hydraulic attachments! Isn't that amazing?" She spoke. It sounded louder than how an average person would.

"A mic and speaker?" Boboiboy muttered out as she had her back towards him. As Hatsume's attention was elsewhere, Boboiboy decided to take the opportunity to strike.

"Since I've got sensors in every direction, I can even deal with attacks with behind!" She said as she dodged his attack again. Boboiboy had almost tripped on one of her attachments.

"Lightning Blade Slash!" He then aimed to attack. Unfortunately, this was also dodged as Hatsume had jumped into the air.

"What do you think of this lightness? These electro shoes use electromagnetic induction on both feet to allow for instant evasive action!" She said as she was beginning to land.

"I'll get her when she lands!" Lightning said to himself as he used his speed to go towards her. When she landed, she turned around and surprised Boboiboy, who was suddenly trapped in a net.

"What the-?!" Boboiboy exclaimed as he tried to get out.

"This is a capture gun to use against Villains! The capture nets are in cartridges, and you can fire up to five before reloading!" She said as she held her gun high for presentation.
Boboiboy however, was getting frustrated as red lightning started to spark around him. His classmates seemed to notice this change.

"Who developed all of these items? It was me, Mei Hatsume! Everyone from the support companies, the choice is clear- Mei Hatsume, Mei Hatsume, Mei Hatsume!" She said as she faced to where the support companies were sitting. Meanwhile, Boboiboy was getting frustrated as he couldn't get out of the net.

The red sparks of lightning were now beginning to go haywire and had overcharged the net, releasing Boboiboy from it's grip. Boboiboy snapped out from his angry state and immediately went out of the net.

"And now, I will talk about the next support item!" She said as she turned to where Boboiboy was standing. The red sparks seemed to disappear after he had gotten out of the net.

She grabbed something from her suit and then pushed a button on it. It then transformed into what seems to be a mechanical bow. She was also wearing glasses attached to an earpiece. She pressed a few buttons on them and she started to fire arrows.

Even though Boboiboy was taken by surprise, he was still able to dodge but only barely. She unleashed a barrage of attacks and Boboiboy could only dodge them by a sliver.

"As you can see here, my accuracy has increased greatly! If you want to know why, it's because of what I'm wearing right now! It's system is specialized in accuracy by analyzing my opponent's movements and is now connected to my other support items!" She said as she attacked. "And that's not all!"

She then smirked and grabbed a different arrow and fired two of it. It wasn't directly aiming for Boboiboy, which he thought was suspicious and went out of the way. When Boboiboy was in the arrows' radius of detection, the arrows suddenly blew up and emmited a blinding light.

"That was my flash arrow! I took reference from how stun grenades were made and implemented it into this arrow! It's flash momentarily makes all of the photoreceptor cells in our eyes to open and thus, blinding our sight!" She said proudly. "However, that's not the only arrow I've got, folks!" She said as she took a different arrow.
