Chaper 7: thailia POV

I got the message when i was running.
We were protecting some roman demigods on a quest from a cyclopes when i saw the shimmering rainbow touch the ground. I looked at it quickly focusing on the cyclopes trying to shoot it right in the eye. I had barely recognized it when i first noticed the iris message but i took a second glance and that was when i realized it was showing percy and annabeth.
"Umm is this a bad time?" Percy said sarcastically.
Ignoring that i shot the cyclopes right in the middle of his one and and he feel down. The other hunters shot at him again to make sure he was dead and i walked over the iris message.
" hey annabeth, hey percy whats up?" I said cooly.
"Umm you think you'll be coming to camp soon?" Annabeth said nervously.
"Yeah we were planning on coming sometime this week.. Umm why is there a problem?" I said wondering why this was so urgent.
"There just this thing..." Percy said.
"WHAT thing guys...?" I said carefully.
"Uhh well-" percy started then looked at annabeth and she finished his sentence saying "its uh luke." And thats when i passed out cold.

When i woke up i was being carried on two girls shoulders the new recruits carly and jaden , they both weren't too open to the idea of being a maiden forever but they figured it was worth it. When i woke up and stood up on my own and they walked on their own too. I asked them how long i was out cold and how long it would take to get there from here and they told me that we were only fifteen minutes from chb and that i had been out cold for a little more than 2 hours.
We walked through the entrance of the camp and were greeted by a flock of campers who pat us on our shoulders and congratulated us. We passed through the crowd and everyone went back to their activities. I told the girls to go see if chiron needed anything or if they could help around camp and i walked towards the big house where the girls had told me annabeth and percy would meet with me. So when i walked through the door i wasnt surprised to see them waiting right by the door.

"So.. Exactly what happened with ..-" i couldnt bring myself to finish the sentence.
"Is he... Alive?" I asked quickly.
"Why dont you see for yourself.." Percy said to me sweetly. And i replied with a grateful smile. They led the way to the infirmary where we met will solace who directed me to a room covered by a white curtain. I pushed away the curtain which was stiff and felt like it needed to be washed. But i ignored it and kept walking. And when i saw the beaten up restless Luke lying on the bed i broke into tears and ran to him. I sat in the chair and hugged him around his neck. I sobbed loud enough to wake him up.
"Hey Thals" he groaned in a tired voice to which i hugged him even harder.
"I missed you." I manage to say through the flood of tears.
