"Boys, you ready to visit an old friend?" Chan asked. The group of 8 stood a few yards away from WAYV behind a few trees.

"Let's just hurry and convince them so we can get her to ourselves," Changbin said.

Chan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin walked together, strongly, towards NCT. Ready to draw them into their trap.

"Wow Jangmi, you don't look so bad in armor. Too bad it could have been ours," Hyunjin said.

"Shut up and sit down so we can get this over with," Jeno said strongly.

All 8 boys looked at him with shock on their face while complying.

This was the moment a lot of them were waiting for.

Stray Kids VS. NCT

"So, Chan, Hyunjin told us that GOT7 wants Jangmi dead. Is that true?" Taeyong asked.

"Yeah, they want us to kill you, so they'll leave our families alone," Chan responded, turning the conversation towards Jangmi.

"Why do they want me dead? What did I do to piss them off so much?" Jangmi asked.

"Yeah, last time I checked they were the ones who kidnapped us while you guys stood by and let it happen," Jia added on.

"I know and we are sorry. We aren't in any position right now to tell GOT7 what we can and can't do. They are still better than us and JYP doesn't let us go places without running it through them," Chan explained.

"Do they know you're here?" Taeyong asked.

"No, we're here to make sure you're safe. Even after everything we kept from you, Jangmi, you're still our friend," Jeongin replied innocently.

"What do you plan on doing to make this real?" Jia asked.

"We have a safe house a few minutes outside of Seoul that no one knows about. It's an old factory that we turned into a place for us to stay at. You'll stay there for a while and we'll check in on you everyday," Hyunjin explained.

"We can stay with her," Jeno replied as soon as Hyunjin finished his sentence.

The boys looked at him irritatingly before Chan said, "Sorry to rain on your parade, but no one goes in there except us. It has information that others aren't allowed to know about. It's a safe house, it won't be safe anymore if you knew about it."

"And how do you know Jangmi won't find that information and send it over to us?" Johnny asked.

"Because we've known her for the longest time. She wouldn't do something like that, no matter what we've done to her. Would you Jangmi?" Seungmin asked, sacredness evident in his voice.

Jangmi sighed and look at the eight boys in front of her. She knew they were right. They've known her for so long that they know she still trusts them.

"Taeyong, let's talk outside for a second," Jangmi said, getting up from her spot in the meeting room.

The two then walked outside the room, leaving Stray Kids, Jia, Jeno, Jaehyun, and Johnny.

"What's up?" Taeyong asked.

"I know you may not, but I truly do trust them. If they wanted to hurt me, they would have done it along time ago."

"So you want to go through with their plan? Are you sure? There are other ways, I mean we can fly you out to the states or to Japan or I don't know. We can do a lot better than keep you at a safe house, that could potentially be compromised by GOT7."

"I've known them almost my whole life, Taeyong. I know when they're lying and I know when they're telling the truth. This is one of those times when they are telling the truth."

Taeyong ran his hand through his hair and looked back at Jangmi.

"If you go, we still will know your location. Your phone has a tracker in it, so we'll always know where you are."

Jangmi smiled lightly at Taeyong. "I'll make sure to keep you updated on what happens."

Taeyang nodded at the twenty-year-old girl and walked back into the meeting room.

"I'll come with you, we can hide at the safe house. But only so we can stop GOT7. Don't think for one second that I am not still pissed about my dad," Jangmi replied strongly.

"We'll meet you tonight, 7 PM. I'll have Felix come back here to get you. Make sure you have everything to be gone for a few weeks," Chan explained.

"Then I'll see you tonight."

"She's so stupid," Jaebum said, looking at the camera attached to Chan's vest.

Before leaving, GOT7 placed a tiny camera and mic on Chan, so they can watch and listen to their entire meeting.

"This is gonna be so sweet when she dies," Yugyeom said excitedly.

"Don't get all excited now. Hyunjin is still the one who has to take the shot," Jinyoung explained.

"Where are we with getting her family?" Jaebum asked.

"We're all good for the go. They don't know anything," Jackson answered.

"Great. Now go. In a few days, the little shithead will be out of our hands."

"Are you seriously gonna go with them?!" Jeno asked. After Stray Kids left, Jeno pulled Jangmi into a room downstairs to talk to her.

"Jeno, I know what I'm doing."

"But you have no idea what they could be planing. How do you know they aren't planning something and this is all a trap?"

"Jeno! I know what I'm doing. I don't need you to make sure I'm safe, I've known them almost my entire life."

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because I have to," she replied softly. "I know you care about me and I'm really thankful for that, but right now, this is a decision I have to make on my own."

"You don't have to."

"I know, but one thing you haven't learned about me yet, is that I'm smarter than all of them. I know this could be a trap and they could actually kill me. Which is why," Jangmi said, pulling her phone out of one of the pockets in her armor, "we have to stay in contact. I'll make sure to keep in touch with you. Every night, I'll text you and tell you what went down, if anything is suspicious, if anything doesn't feel right."

"What if-"

"Stop thinking about what bad outcomes and start thinking about good outcomes. I'll be fine, Jeno. Trust me."

Jeno sighed and nodded towards the girl.

"See? That wasn't so hard was it," Jangmi said, trying to lighten up the mood.

Jeno laughed at the girl and said, "Go pack. They'll be back in a few hours."
