I got out of bed, feeling energised. I could smell bacon. I put on my pastel blue slippers and headed into the kitchen. "Ooo what you cooking?" I looked over Asher's shoulder, and snuggled into him, which made him giggle. "Do you like bacon?" I love bacon. "Who doesn't apart from vegetarians and vegans?" He put my bread in the frying pan to make it crispy. I got the ketchup out of the fridge and got a sharp knife out to cut our sandwiches. He dished up and we sat down at the kitchen table. "Yummy." I said as I took a huge bite into my sandwich half. I stared into his eyes and smiled. Something was wrong with him. "Are you okay? You're being awfully quiet." I held my hand out for him to hold, and so he did and smiled at me. He gulped, and said, "Yeah, I'm fine, I just really love bacon." We both laughed and finished off our coffee and bacon. "Well, I need to head into town to do some business..." He said as he got out of his chair and put his dishes in the sink. He walked into the bedroom to go and get dressed. I sat on the couch and watched TV. "Cya later baby" He said as he grabbed his keys from off the counter top and headed out the front door. It would be around 6 hours until I saw him again.
