I awoke to someone touching my shivering shoulder. "Hey, hey, are you awake?" I opened my eyes half way to see a young boy, around the same age as me, smiling at me. "You're FREEZING! Here take this" He took off his jacket and wrapped it around me. "T-thank you, who are y-you?" I was still shivering, as it was early morning, and the nights were cold. "Oh my name is Asher, what about you?" He rubbed my arms, warming up my fragile body. "S-summer. Oh thank you, by the way" He passed me a bottle of water out his old navy blue backpack. "Have you got anywhere to stay tonight, or at all?" I, of course, replied with "No" He looked at me worried. "Alright, I'll let you stop at mine until you find somewhere to stay" He offered his hand to help me up. He had a firm grip, not letting me fall. "You're so generous" I had warmed up by now. He put his arms around my shoulders and held me close to him, we walked slowly back to his truck.

He opened the passenger door of his old Jeep and I hopped in. He had a jelly belly air freshener hanging from the mirror, and the heater was on. "You love your jeep ay?" I said with a slight bit of sarcasm in my voice. "Yes, I do actually. I might as well look after it if I'm going to travel in it" I buckled myself in and took his coat from around my shoulders and gave it him back. "All buckled in? Alright, lets go home."
