Chapter 11 - Hello

After 3 years...

[Earl's POV]

Aerie called last night and asked if I could possibly pick her up today . After the long wait , magkikita na ulit kame, nagsskype naman kami every now and then pero iba parin talaga pag sa personal diba ?

I was so caught up w/ my thoughts when someone tapped my shoulder .

"Hey" She gave me that reassuring smile of hers.

She's grown gorgeously.

I mentally slapped my head at the thought.

"A! You're here , Di ka man lang tumawag na naka land na yung plane niyo " I acted like a five year old kid with my lips pouting .

"HAHAHAHA. ano na nangyare sa crush ko ?? Nabakla yata " she snickered playfully

"Ako parin naman to' A , mas pogi lang ngayon "

She pinched my cheeks and said

"No earl, I like you more back then"

After what she said, everything returns back from my old memory the day when she left for good. Her Lola ask Aerie to live with her because no one will be there to take care of her . As she stay at the states, she encouraged herself to continue her studies and soon she's off alone without her grandma because she died before she could see aeries graduation ceremony. It was really upsetting for her. She calls me every night and cried over the phone because of it. Her Lola was one of the best people she met as she shares her experience living with her.

"So let's go? Gutom na talaga ako" then she smiled childishly .

yeah, I missed her a lot.

[Rain's POV]

"Raainn wake up!!"

"Gimme tenfddj minutssfx"

I tossed my head to the other side..

"RAAIIIINNNN" aish pambihira naman talaga =___=

"Annika !!! For Pete's sake ! Don't shout , It's too early"

"But Rain , you promised me you'll take me to the airport.."

Napaupo ako ng wala sa oras.

"SHOOT! LET'S GET GOING THEN.."

Yeah, I'm with annika , it's not what you think.. We became really good friends after she left ... Simula nung araw na yun , Hindi ko na siya nakita , Hindi ko na rin ma contact , Si earl naman , bihira ko nalang makita hanggang sa grumaduate nalang kami...

Aalis ngayon si annika papunta ng Paris. May businesses na siya na naitayo doon, kaya bihira nalang kaming magkita..

Naalala ko tuloy noong nag confess siya sa akin..

/Flashback/

Nakita ko si aerie na lumalakad papalayo , nagulat din ako at nagtaka kung ano ang ginagawa niya dito.. Teka.. Si Earl ba yung nakikita ko..

"Rain, I have something to say to you.."

Nawala na sa paningin ko yung dalawa

"What is it annika ?" Naiinis ako sa kanya...

"Rain, I want you back.."
..

"Sorry, Annika , We can't be together like we used to be. ."

"I know, I'm just trying my luck here .."

Then she laughed bitterly.

"But we can still be friends right ?" She asked all of a sudden

"Of course , tara uwi na tayo..."

/end of flashback/

After 30 minutes of driving.

Nakarating na kami dito sa NAIA.

*gruuuuu*

"Annika, let's go grab something to eat" I forgot to eat before heading here.

"Sure, I know a place where they offer a good food" she dragged me along.

The next thing I knew , I was dumbfounded ...
