"lets do it." i smile

"really?! this is gonna be so much fun!" she giggles

"i have hair dye in my bathroom." frances says

well this is gonna be a bad idea in the morning.

i wake up to all our alarms going off.

"jesus." i mumble

i turn off my alarm as the others do the same. i get up stumbling into the bathroom. i look in the mirror to see my hair is now brunette.

"oh god." i panic

"what? what happened?" frances asks coming into the bathroom

"my hair!" i shriek

"oh buzz off you look fine." she says rubbing her eyes

"i'm like a whole new person, my dad isn't gonna-"

"jesus blakely, you look hot alright, you look fine." she says

"what-"

"i didn't mean it like that." she quickly says

"i- um, i'm gonna head home, i'll see you at school." i say

i walk out the bathroom and grab my phone and put on my shoes. i quickly head out the room and walk out the house. a cold breeze hits me as my teeth chatter.

let me get home before i freeze to death.

i walk into the house and see crystal drinking her tea, as usual.

"what the- your hair." she gasps walking over to me

"yeah, my friend wanted to dye it." i say

"i'm gonna miss that blonde hair of yours." she smiles throwing a blanket around me

"you have school so why don't you go get ready, i'll drive you." she says

i nod my head going up the stairs. i go into my room going over to my closet to pick out my outfit like no other day.

i get out the car saying bye to crystal going up to the school. i walk into the school going to my locker.

"okay, your hair looks amazing now that it's all curled." beanie smiles walking up to me

"thanks, i really like it." i smile

"did your dad find out about it yet?" she asks

"no kinda-"

i get cut off by the most obnoxious voices.

"ay look your girl had a melt down and dyed her hair." max snickers

"she's not my girl anymore." august says
