Accidentally a Princess

Chapter 1

Belle's POV

I stared blankly at the silver mirror in front of me. 

Damn, I can clearly see some bruises on my arms

I was startled when the door suddenly flew open. There, I saw my mother with a worried face, carrying a bag of ice with her. She slowly walked towards my direction as water starts to fill her eyes.

"Shh. Mom, I'm okay. You don't have to worry about me. This is just nothing." I walked towards her gave a little smile

She gently placed the ice bag on the bruises, wiping her tears away.

"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything about all this, Belle. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you or your sister. I'm sorry I---" I hugged my mother really tight as she buries her face on my chest. No, it wasn't her fault. It's his fault.

"It's alright mom. You did everything you can and it's more than enough as a mother. Don't worry, soon, everything will be alright" I lied with thorns on my tongue to ease her pain. I let go of the hug as I heard screams from the room next door.

My mom cried harder and I clutched my hands into a fist as tears slowly roll down my cheeks. I wanted to punch him, I want to save my sister! but I can't. He already locked the door and if I do anything, his anger will get worse and even hit my mom.

I feel really pathetic for I can do nothing about this even though I know this is soo wrong!

We've tried everything we can to get away from my dad.

My mom, sister, and I ran away and lived far, away from him but in the end, he got his investigators all over the country and brought us back to this prison house.

We've tried reporting him to the police but he just bailed and paid huge amounts to the officers-in-charge.

We asked help from all of my mother's relatives but everything and everyone is just under his control because of his money and his power and I hate it!

My mom got up and hurried to my closet as she rummage through my clothes

"Hurry! Change your clothes and get out of here! I will cover up for you as long as you get away from here while he's drunk. Don't worry, I will take care of your sister" She rushed me into changing my clothes and applied make up for me

"But mom! I don't want to leave you or Emerald behind!"

"I can't afford to see both my daughters beaten up by my husband! Please. Runaway. For me. For your sister. Even if it's just for the meantime." My mom pleaded as tears kept on flowing from her eyes.

I looked at the long mirror again and I saw a whole different person. I'm wearing a short and shiny crimson dress that shows off the perfect curves of my body together with a long V-neck that reveals my cleavage. The bruises on my arms cannot be seen because of the long lacy sleeve that envelopes it.

My mom silently dragged me out of my room bringing my 5-inches heels on her hand. She gave it to me when I reached the door outside my house and there I saw my best friend Kathleen waiting inside her shiny black car.

"Now go and have fun for us" My mom said while faking a smile as she pushed me to the car. I got in and we hurriedly went off.

After a few minutes of a quiet ride, we arrived at the famous club in the city, M20. Kath placed her hand on my shoulder and smiled lightly at me.

"I know going to bars recently has been quite new to you but if this is the only way to help you break the chains, I would gladly help you escape it. That's the least thing I could do for you, Belle"

I smiled at her as tears starts to blurry my sight. She didn't hesitate and gave me a big, warm hug which makes me feel how lucky I am to have her in my cursed life.

"Let's go?" Kath excitedly exclaimed as she got out of the car and no wonder, she's turning heads as she came in sight because of her black skimpy dress which makes her hotter than she already is. I smirked and thought 'I won't let my best friend beat me with this'. I let out a huge sigh before stepping out of the car. My eyes wondered around as I kept my head high, maintaining elegance as I walked towards my best friend.

We got in the club and little did I know, this night would be the day I've been waiting for my whole life.
