marie had an amazing family once upon a time. That lasted for only 10 years. a few days bef0re marie's 10th birthday, marie's dad died in a shooting at the mall, whilst getting a present for marie. after that, things went downhill, marie's family were struggling to live and went on the streets for a while. her mother became careless and left marie wherever. once she almost got kidnapped only if a random person on the street didn't witness her screaming. she had a troubled childhood and she was traumatised and shook after that.

present day

yesterday night, marie went home after school to see her mum with a strange looking man. she examined his face closely as she thought she'd definitely seen him before but it was in the back of her head so she pushed the thought away and went to introduce herself.

mm- hi sweetie meet my fiancé.
m- FIANCÉ??!!! mom why didn't you tell me?! wow i'm shocked! congratulations!
mm- thank you honey, i didn't say because i wanted it to be a surprise and just today when i was going to show you my boyfriend, he proposed!
m- aww that's so cute! i'm gonna get changed and have a shower and stuff bye!

as soon as marie left the room, her smile quickly faded as she noticed that the man never introduced himself or anything. he just said hi and nothing else. she decided to ignore that because it was probably just nothing. whilst marie was in the shower, her moms fiancé asked if he could go upstairs and get to know marie, her mom said yes.

when marie came out the shower and got dressed, she was greeted with a not so friendly face.

m-marie
mf-moms fiancé

m- what the hell! what are you doing in my room?!
mf- don't be scared! i'm only here to tell you to stop with the attitude.
m- what attitude?
*moms fiancé slaps marie*
mf- that was for speaking back to me.
m- i didn't speak back but i'm sorry.
*mf punches marie in her eye*
mf- things will be different when i'm around so be careful.

marie cried and cried for hours until it was finally time for school.... new part coming in a few days!
