marie woke up on a sunny day, she couldn't of been happier especially with the sun shining, the birds chirping until she got a flash back from yesterday. she rushed to the mirror to see if it was all a dream but it wasn't, her black eye was still there and her bruise from the slap.
marie ran to her desk to get some makeup but no matter how much make up she put on, the bruises were still incredibly visible. so she resulted in the next best thing which was an oversized hoodie and shorts

when marie arrived at school, she walked in and sat down with her face low and looking at the floor. alejandro knew something was up so he immediately looked at her face to see if she was crying only to see her with a black eye.
a-ale m-marie a- oh my god marie! are you ok m- yes i'm fine, stop screaming, why do you care? go tell your girlfriend to beat me up. a- no! you already are beaten up, tell me how. m-oh, no reason, it doesn't matter. a- marie, i swear to god if you don't tell me, i will go to the teacher and tell them m- no! fine i'll tell you m- *mumbles* my moms fiancé hit me a-what? m- SHUT UPP! don't draw attention! my moms fiancé hit me ok! a- what? tell me why. m- idk really, he just hit me out of nowhere. a- are you ok? m- i will be
alejandro gave marie a hug and whispered in her ear "if he ever does this again, tell me, i'll kill him" marie laughed. "haha alejandro,you couldn't hurt a fly. "hey!" alejandro said before he playfully hit marie on her arm.
marie thought in her head 'wow angry alejandro was cute'. as for the rest of the day, no one noticed marie's black eye and as quick as a flash, it was night time.
days and days went by which turned into months and her moms fiancé never did anything bad until 1 night...
