~Chelsea's P.O.V~
Miranda and Blake walked around for a lil bit. I really hope Luke is right about Blake asking her to be his girlfriend cause she never shuts up about how much she wants to be or how "cute" he is. Ten minutes later they came back. The girls and I walked away. We sat down at a different table far away from the boys so they couldn't hear us.
"Soooo...." Danielle said.
"Sooo what?" Miranda replied
"Well did he ask you"
Miranda had the biggest smile on her face.
"Yep he did. That look proves it." I said.
"He asked me if I wanted to sleep over at his house tonight."
"What'd you say?!" Stephanie said
"Yes...."
"Oh damn" Danielle said
We laughed and started walking back over to the guys.
Luke was sitting on the table so I sat in front of him on the bench.
•couple hours later. It is now 10pm•
Luke and I were laying down on a blanket looking at the stars. Bo was cuddled up to Luke's arm sleeping.
"I have one more surprise for you Chels" he walked over to the truck and grabbed his guitar. I picked up Bo, who was somehow still sleeping, and wrapped the blanket around him. I walked over to where everyone else was. Luke walked over and sat in front of me on the table.~Luke's P.O.V~
I'm really nervous to play this song for her but I know I have to do it. I started playing. Then started to sing "We met down at the floatin' dock. She snuck out scared, she might get caught. We were nervous, but it was worth it"
Chelsea started to blush. I kept singing "There was no such thing as consequence. With her in my arms it finally made sense. In that moonlight, I saw her tan lines"
"Aww" the other girls said. Chelsea just kept looking at me and smiling as I continued to play my guitar and sing to her.
"Every time my feet are danglin' in the water. I can't help but think about her. Lyin' there with her wet hair. Didn't know what we were doin' but we didn't care. That old wooden dock was warm on our backs T-shirt for a pillow and just like that. She kissed me like she meant forever. We were too damn young to know any better" it was like it was only Chelsea and I there. Everyone else just went blur.
"The fog rolled in, she said "I better go" She took my t-shirt and wore it home. A memory, a souvenir she could keep. So I stayed and watched that sunrise. Like it was wakin' up my life. To what love was, I can still see us"
Chelsea started tearing up. I knew it was happy tears so I kept playing and singing
"Every time my feet are danglin' in the water. I can't help but think about her. Lyin' there with her wet hair. Didn't know what we were doin' but we didn't care. That old wooden dock was warm on our backs. T-shirt for a pillow and just like that. She kissed me like she meant forever. We were too damn young to know any better" I sang that course on more time than I sand the last part "We were too damn young to know any better"
Chelsea handed Bo to Miranda as I put my guitar down. We kissed and hugged for, what I felt like, five minutes.
