~Chelsea's P.O.V~
Its been a month since the whole thing happened with my mom. She hasn't talked to us very much but I do text Ashley every once in a while to see how she is. Lately I haven't been texting her because I've been sick. The last couple mornings I threw up. Luke doesn't know because he's been going to work and I don't want to worry him. He's been taking my truck to work because his dodge broke down and can't drive far. I have a couple more hours till he gets back and its a pretty nice day so I think I'll take Bo out for a walk. So I got ready and off we went. I decided to walk to the store a couple blocks from my house to buy a couple pregnancy tests and candy. I walked a couple more blocks and then started walking back home. When I got home I went to the bathroom. Bo followed. I took out the test and starred at it. I'll be happy if I am but relieved if I'm not. I closed the door, with Bo still in, and I peed on it. I sat it on the counter and did the other 3. After finishing I pulled up my pants and then looked at Bo.
"Do you want a brother or sister Bo?"
He barked. I bent down and played with him for a lil bit. When I got up to look at the tests they were all positive.... I heard Luke walk in so I quickly put them in the bag, grabbed the candy, and put the bag under the sink.
~Luke's P.O.V~
When I was on my way home from work I stopped and got Chelsea some flowers. I opened the door and could hear her or Bo.
"Chelsea!?"
"In the bathroom. Just a sec!"
She opened the door and Bo came running to me. I bent down to give him kisses on the head. He gave me kisses everywhere. I stood up and kissed Chelsea.
"How was work babe?"
"The usual. Boring"
Since Blake is my boss I usually get good working hours but not this week.
"So for the rest of the week since its getting more busier at the shop, Blake asked me to work more hours. And he said I'll get more money"
"When do you get off now?"
"I have to be at work before 11am and I get off at 10pm"
"Are you sure you want to work that long?"
"If it pays good money... Yes. Are u okay with that baby? I told Blake that I have to talk to you first."
"Yeah I'm fine with that babe" she kissed me and walked to the kitchen. I followed. We started making dinner. We had hamburgers and French fries. After we finished eating Chelsea and sat on the couch. Well she laid down with her head on my leg. We sat and watched a couple shows then all three of us went upstairs and went to sleep.
PART TWO:
~Chelsea's P.O.V~
While Luke was sleeping I got ready and took Bo shopping with me. In this town you're allowed to bring you pets in as long as they're behaved. I went to the shopping center a little ways out of town. Bo and I went to the baby section to find the perfect onesie. After searching for 20 minutes I finally found it. It was a yellow onesie that said "Daddy's new fishing buddy" I went and got a little gift bag and the paper stuffing that goes in it. I paid for it all and left. Next I had to go to the next store to get a card for him. I found a card that said "honey, I'm sorry but something has come between us" then when you open it, it says "you're going to be a daddy" I decided to get it. After I paid for it I sat in the truck. I wrote "you are going to be a wonderful daddy babe. I hope you are ready for this. Love your one and only, Chelsea" I put it in the envelope and closed it. I grabbed the onsie and took off the price tag then wrapped it in the stuffing paper and put it in the bag. I put more of the paper in it then I put the card on the side. I put the test in there too. When Bo and I got home Luke was still sleeping. I sat on the couch and put the strings in Bo's mouth
"Go give it to daddy"
He ran up the stairs.
~Luke's P.O.V~
I must have been really tired cause I didn't wake up until Bo came in the room and started barking. When I looked at him he had a gift bag. I got up and took it from him. I started to open it. I took out the card and read it. Tears starting falling. I looked at the onsie and laughed. Then I seen the tests. I put everything back and went down stairs. Chelsea was watching t.v.
"Is this true chels?"
"Yes babe. I found out last night."
I started to cry. I hugged Chelsea and she hugged me back. We kissed. We sat down on the couch and I laid the onesie on my lap and just stared at it for a little bit.
"Are you okay babe"
I was spacing out so I didn't quit hear her.
"Babe." She moved me
"Huh.."
"I said are you okay"
"Yeah baby. I'm fine. Just surprised "
"Okay babe. I love you"
"I love you too" we kissed again.
