Y ~Chapter 20 Chelsea’s P.O.V~
our wedding is in two days. everything is set up for it at our house. Morgan flew in today and im super happy. i showed her the camo dress i got her and she tried it on. when she was here last time we did a fitting so i knew what size to get her. i got the babies outfits ready for tomorrow. they are super cute. madison has a pink camo dress with her cowgirl boys and lukey have a lil camo tux with wranglers and his cowboy boots. lukes boss is also a preacher so we asked him if he would marry us and he said yes. my maid of honor is morgan and my bridesmaid is danielle and miranda. lukes best man is blake and jason and scotty. the rehearsal is tomorrow and im super nervous but excited. Morgan told us she would watch the babies for us while we go out to dinner. so we got ready and thanked her and went to dennys.. the same one that we went on our first date to. after we were finished eating luke took us to the mudding spot where he asked me to marry him. we sat in the truck for a lil bit. “Chels… i love you so much. you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. i wouldnt trade you for the world. you are such an amazing mother and fiance, soon to be wife. i couldnt ask GOD for anything better. you mean so much to me, as do the twins. i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” a tear fell down my check. he wiped it away and kissed me. “i love you so much too luke and i wouldnt ask for anything else. you are a wonderful daddy and husband. i know weve had some bumps along the way but im glad weve made it past all that. i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with you either!” we started to kiss then we heard a knock on lukes window. we stopped kissing to see who it was. it was Taylor. luke rolled down his window.
“save it for the hunny moon you two love birds” taylor joked
“oh haha taylor,” i said as luke was laughing
“so are you coming tomorrow? morgan will be there” i asked
he started to blush a little bit
‘yeah i am. already got my tux too. full camo. no one will see me coming”
we all laughed.
“well ill see yall there. dont have TOO much fun tonight” he winked at us
“oh go away taylor” i laughed
“see yall later” he said then left.
luke and i went mudding for a little bit but then realized it was ten at night and thought we should get back and get some sleep since the next couple of days is going to be pretty busy.
~Luke's P.O.V~
When Chelsea and i got home we thought the babies wouldnt be asleep since theyve only went to bed for us but morgan had them in their cribs sleeping.
“howd you do that? they barely get to sleep with just one of us here..” Chelsea laughed
“it wasnt that hard. i just played a little George Strait and they were asleep within two songs” she replied
“yep… theyre mine kids” i joked
chelsea smiled. we we went upstairs and changed into our pjs. i laid in bed but chelsea went back downstairs and talked to morgan.. probably to talk about taylor. i was just about to fall asleep but then morgan said “aww!” really loud it woke me up. i heard chelsea tell her to “shhh” i was curious about what it was about so i went downstairs.
“what was that about?”
“oh nothing babe. go back to sleep. love you”
chels had that look on her face that she has when she has a good secret. but instead of trying to get it out of her i just smiled at her and went back upstairs.
about 20 minutes later chelsea came back upstairs and laid in bed with me. we were both laying in different directions. i turned to her and put my arm around her and pulled her closer.
