The Right One

Chapter 4

I laid down on my bed and waited for Christine. While I was waiting I looked at my Facebook. Until I saw something.

"Shit!" I shouted while still looking at the post

I saw a picture on our University Facebook page. A picture of me and Alex talking but his hands are holding my hands. Then I looked at the caption. "Looks like there's a new couple". I started to panic. Until I saw the text from Christine pop up on my phone. So I rushed down and went to the parking lot. I saw Christine waiting beside my car.

"Finally you're here, I'm hungry come on let's go," She said as she enters the passenger seat

We went to the nearest restaurant. After we went to the parking lot we went in front of the restaurant. Then we looked for a table and waited for the waiter. Then a waiter comes and took our order one talked while waiting for our food. Christine is busy with her phone. While I was busy panicking inside because of the post that I saw earlier. There so many questions In my mind but the most bothered me what will Alex thinks. I was so busy I didn't saw the waiter came with our orders and went back to his post. 

"Alex?!" She said while I shook my head bringing me back to reality 

"Yes?" I asked her while I looked at my plate

"What's wrong? You've been zoning out since we got here, Are you ok? You're not sick are you?" She asked concerned while she placed her hand on my forehead

"No, I'm not sick," I said while I grabbed her hand and placing It on the table slowly

"Have you seen the new post on our university page?" I asked her while looking at my plate

"Oh yeah, I think you and Alex are cute," She said while she giggled, and then she looked back at me " Is that what's troubling you?" She asked in confusion

"Yes, I've been thinking about it since back at my room," I said to her while poking my food

"Why? and stop playing with your food," She said while she stops my hand poking my food

"I'm scared, What will the others think? What would Alex think when he sees the post? will he be angry at me?" I said to her worried and panicking

"Why would he be angry at you?" She asked in confusion while looking at me

"I don't know? I might ruin his reputation because of that picture," I said to her still worried and panicking 

"No one is going to be angry at you because of that, plus Alex is not going to angry at you because you are not the one who posted that picture," She said while comforting me

"But- but-," I was about talk but Christine stopped me  by placing a finger on my mouth to shut me up

"No buts, plus Alex is the one approach you right?" She said while she raised her eyebrow at me waiting for my confirmation

"Yes," I said to her while looking at her eyes

"Then there, there's is nothing to be worried about, plus if someone tries to hurt you we will make sure that he or she will never hurt you," She said proudly and I laughed. 

"So stop worrying ok?" She asked then she sat next to me and she puts her arm around and starts to rub my arm to comfort me so that I will stop worrying

"Yes," I said to her while still laughing and then I gave her a big smile but inside me still can't help be anxious about the picture

"Now come on let's eat our food before it cools down," She said as she went back to her seat and starts eating.
