I look at him with my dark brown eyes. "Who are the Guardians?" I ask him.

He is giving me that look again; where he's looking at me like I'm some sort of alien. I hate it! "Haven't you ever read the book we gave your mother, to give to you?"

"Well yes, er, uh, no. What I mean is I have read only part of it. I haven't had the time.--"

He cuts me off. "That's BULL CRAP AND YOU KNOW IT!!!" He was screaming at me. "You were given ONE thing to do before I met up with you and you can't even DO IT?! What am I going to do about you? You're going to be impossible to train..." He trails off leaving me in wonderment. He looks out the window and it was then that I realized that there was a scar about two inches long, right above his right eyebrow.

"What happened to your eyebrow?" I asked him.

He looks down at his feet before looking at me again and said as if it were nothing, "I got into a fight with another wolf. Now, stop getting off topic. Why did you not read the book? It had almost all the information you need in order to be a wolf. And," He stares at me for a while with his big, blue eyes then says, "you didn't even read it. Why?" Now he was glaring at me.

"I told you, I didn't have ti-"

He cut me off again. "That's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. 'Oh, I didn't have time," he says in a falsetto voice, "That's bull! You had two months to read it and to prepare-"

It's my turn to cut him off. "Umm, excuse me, but I just got the book yesterday."

"Well, you were supposed to have it two months ago. But, that doesn't matter. The book wasn't that long, you could have still read it. If you can't do one simple task, then you shouldn't even be here today. The book was 40 pages long and the print wsn't too small. If you can't commit yourself to do that, then that just shows you can't commit yourself to being a wolf."

I was almost in tears now. "It's not my fault my father beats me and raped me a year ago. I still have to go to counseling because of it. See look at my face." I go into the kitchen and take some water on a washcloth and wipe my cheek to get the makeup off. "See the bruising, that's because of my so-called father. It took 10 minutes to cover that up with makeup. And, ever since he raped me, I've been depressed! Do you know what it feels like to have no one to talk to? Me and my grandma used to be close but she died two years ago a day after my birthday. My father hates me, and my mother is never home. She only just showed up yesterday and told me about this werewolf thing. It sucks! And guess what? Everyone at school hates me and the only friend I have is Jennifer. Ever since you left school, everyone has been calling me name such as, fat, whore, bi***, and so many more. When you left, there was no one to stick up for me. Cuz remember, you did that for me? And now I have no one! So, sorry I'm not the perfect rose in the bush!" I walk out of the kitchen from where I was standing and out the door.

I run into the woods and can here Dylan saying yell, "Wait, Caitlyn!" He's coming towards me now. What should I do? Walk away or stay put?

"Go away!" I yell at him. I'm sobbing long tears now. He probably thinks I'm a baby! By this time, he was about 5 feet away.

"I'm not going anywhere. I had no idea about your father..." His voice trails off to a faint whisper.

Dylan's POV

She probably think I'm the biggest jerk ever! I walk up beside her and wipe away her tears. She just looks at me. "I would never do anything to hurt you," I say to her. Her eyes look like she's in so much pain right now. Think Dylan, think! What should I do? "If you ever need to talk to someone about anything, I'm always here. Okay?" I lift her chin up so she would look me straight in the eye. "Okay?" I asked her again.

She nods her head yes. She tries to speak but nothing comes out. All of a sudden, she stands up and hugs me with everything she's got and starts crying up a storm. I tell her, "Shh... It's alright. Shh, it's going to be okay." I start combing through her hair with my fingers, and get it out of her face. I look into her eyes and start laughing.

She snaps at me, "What?!" I just couldn't stop the laughter. It was so hilarious. While I was messing with her hair, I sneakily stuck two branches to make it look like they were horns from a deer. And since she was crying, all of her makeup got smeared. And, her nose was red from blowing her nose. She looked like a Rudolf costume gone BAD. Her clothes were all dirty and ragged from sitting on the ground. Her shoes were left back in the house, so her feet were filthy.

"Let's go get you cleaned up, then we can discuss more later about the rules and such."

She smiles and says, "Okay, sounds good." She sniffles and it was really loud. I start laughing and then she starts laughing. The next thing I know is that my laughter came to an abrupt stop when she kissed me. She has the most softest, kissable lips ever. I was so shocked I didn't have time to react. The kiss was over before it seemed to ever start.

I looked at her in bewilderment. "What was that for?" I asked her.

She smiles at me. "Oh, just making sure there wasn't any sparks."

I was shocked. "Well, was there?" Please say yes. Please say yes. Please say yes.

"Luckily, there wasn't...Race you to the house!" And she was off in a matter of seconds.

Hey guys! Sorry for any grammar mistakes. Please comment on what you think of it so far. I would like to know what you think. Thanks!
