It was love,
but you never felt it.
It was so cold,
but I dealt with it.
We were the same in the opposite way.
I searched for you in the woods but you were hiding in the Hades, dancing with your demons that you told me never existed.
In every crowd, my eyes catch your silhouette but every time it's someone else.
Under an umbrella, on 17th March. You grabbed me by my waist. The time stopped and so did my heart.
But my love for you; it grew.
No one is to be blamed except for my love swimming in your want.
My heart betrays me as it falls for you once again.
You're not here anymore and maybe that is a good thing.
My love wasn't enough for you and your ignorance was too much pain...
My darling, my dearest; why wouldn't you love me?
My obsession, my drug; tell me you love me.
My pain, my strength, my weakness; why can't I let you go?
Was it all too much to love?
So you leave.
And you leave behind a fantasy for me, for my love, for something I could thrive on....Forever and always.
