Hey Guys! So that is the end of the teaser (first five chapters) of Something About Us! I've gotten a ton of good feedback on this story so far and I really hope that trend continues after reading the teaser. I will make the decision on whether or not to continue the story soon!
Future for SAU:
If the decision to continue Something About Us is made I thought I would let you guys in on my goals for the story so far and where I see this story ending. As you know, Spencer does struggle with a drug addiction as well as some sexual harassment from a former boyfriend; my goal for Spencer in this story is to see her ask for and get help so she can begin to heal from her hurt. I want to see her begin to get her life on track (a drastic turn from the beginning of this story) so we can focus on her relationship with Toby. Toby is presented as a very independent, lone soldier type of guy. We see him as being Spencer's support system through these first few chapters, but we also get the sense that he has battle wounds that have not yet been shown.Toby is depicted as Spencer's support system; however, I want Toby to get to a place where he realizes his vulnerabilty and relies on Spencer as much as she relies on him. What I want for Spoby more than anything is for them to be happy; there is that part of me that wants to see them married with kids and dog and house in a little suburban neighborhood, but not yet ;) ! Finally, all characters (including spoby), I want to use this time to develop their characters, their behaviors, their beliefs etc.. so that I may use it in future storylines. I will try to keep the drama at a maximum because what's better than that? Nothing.

I forgot what I was going to say after that soooo I guess that's it-- I probably forgot to mention a lot in this author's note (like my bday's in 3 days), but its 2:30am on Christmas day so i'm going to pretend like I didn't forget anything and that everything is okay in life!
