Set Me Free(Cancelled)

Chapter 3 ~ The Raid, the Slave Girl, and the Bracelets.

So first of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!! It is 1 hour past the beginning of Christmas but I refuse to go to sleep until this chapter is up! This is my christmas present to the lovely readers. I tried to make this chapter longer than my last chapters to make it special! I hope you all enjoy it.

Speaking of chapters, the last chapter was dedicated to clato984ever for being the first person to vote for this story. This chapter is dedicated to sophiav963 for being the first person to comment on my story. When someone first voted for my story and when someone first commented on my story i can't even begin to explain how touched I was. The fact that there are people enjoying my first fanficition really means a lot to me!

The eight generals along with Sinbad and the palace guards all were aware of the situation. They were all to keep look out for the slave girl while enjoying themselves. They weren’t really expecting the slave girl to be at the festival but there was always a slim chance. Little did they know that she was going to be near them just not where they thought she would be.

3rd POV

                Kai walked by her master as they came around the back entrance of the palace. Her scarf and veil in place keeping her identity secure as she walked towards her death, in a sense. Kai was being forced to use her enhanced senses to tell when there was anyone near them and to keep them hidden. Using her senses they were able to get into the palace unnoticed.

                From there Master Corbin lead the group towards the treasure room. Unfortunately a group of guards went unnoticed by Kai as she had gotten distracted and they rounded the corner and ran into the group of gang members and thieves. There were only three guards though so they were quickly taken out.

                Master Corbin turned towards Kai and stalked over to her before slamming her head against the wall she was by. Kai whimpered as a sharp pain ripped through her skull, a trickle of blood running down the side of her face as her skin was ripped due to the force of the blow.

                “You idiot! Why didn’t you warn us! You had one job you stupid B****!” Corbin whisper yelled into her ear before throwing her to the ground. “We will just make her fight all the fights from now on.” He said as he began leading the way again, the gang snickering at her as they all continued walking.

                Kai pushed herself up off the ground despite the pain coursing through her skull. Kai walked behind the ground her senses blurred and useless as she walked behind the group. They weren’t too far from the treasure room now, the festival acted as the perfect distraction.

                Corbin peered around the corner and saw the guards outside the treasure room. He turned back to the group and smirked as he walked over to Kai.

                “Here’s your chance to make yourself useful. You are going to run past the guards in front of the room while we yell like we are chasing you. That will distract them and make them chase you while calling the reinforcements to help get you.” Master Corbin told her before pushing her into the hall. “Start running now beast.” He whispered. With that Kai took off at half speed down the hall going straight past the guards as someone from the gang yelled behind her.
