Fourteen

Mischa's POV

The kiss with Nate is getting heated really fast, we're both lying on the porch with me on top of him making out. Then I finally come back down to earth and I realized that what I was doing was wrong on so many levels. Nate has a girlfriend and I just so happen to be friends with her, she's a really lovely girl and i'm being a terrible friend right now.

I immediately pulled away and got off him and we both sat up. He started kissing me on my neck and as much I was loving I told him to stop. He stopped and looked at me then asked "Why?".

M: Because you have a girlfriend Nate and I have Cameron.
N: You and Cameron aren't even official. And yeah but I don't love her like I love you
M: I know but it might turn into something more with him and i'm willing to see if it does. What we had was in the past and I think it should stay that way. Just try forget about me and give her all of your attention now. She really loves you Nate.
N: That's the thing though, I don't want to forget what we had Misch. What we had was something special, nobody else will ever understand.
M: Nate please don't do this. You have to move on. You have a girl who's head over heels for you.

With that I got up and left even though Nate called and chased after me. I got in my car and was puling out of the driveway I saw him standing at the front door and he looked really upset. I had to speed off other wise I wouldn't have left. I would've stayed with him. I have to be a good friend to Rebecca so that's what i'm going to do. Well besides telling her. I can't tell her what has happened.

I text Cameron to see if he still wants to hang, he says yes so I head back over to his apartment.

Nate's POV

And just like that she's gone. She told me that she's willing to see what will happen between her and Cameron and that made me angry. It honestly doesn't feel good hearing the one person you truly love and care about tell you that they want to be someone else. I go grab my phone so I can text Mischa but then when I look at it I see I have heaps of missed calls and texts from Becs asking if I was okay. I text her back just so she doesn't get worried and I tell her that i'm staying at my aunts for the night and that i'll be home tomorrow. She replies saying "Okay. I love you and hope you're alright baby xx". Everyone knows my aunt lives in laguna but Mischa is the only one who's been here to this house so she's the only one who knows how to get here, hence why I didn't mind telling Becs where I was.

*skips to next day*

*beep beep* my phone goes off and it's a text from Jack seeing if I want to go to the beach. I reply saying that i'm in Laguna and then asked who is going?

Jack: Just Me, JJ, Mallory, Katie, Rebecca, and hopefully you hahaha. We'll come to Laguna then bro.
Nate: Hahahaha sweet bro, i'll see you guys there.

Thank fuck Mischa isn't going. I don't think I can face her just yet. As much as I want to I just can't. Just like she said I have to move on because I have an amazing girl right here with me.

*BEACH TIIIIIIIIME*

I see the Jacks and the girls down at the beach and then much to my dismay I see Mischa & Cameron also down there with them. I guess Jack texted the also to see if they wanted to go. They haven't seen me yet maybe I'll just leave. I'm definitely contemplating leaving now, I go turn around and leave but then I thought to myself the only way to move on is by accepting that she's going to be with other guys so I turn back around and continue walking towards them.

Jack's POV

Yooooo what's up bro? Glad you could make it! We do our bro-hug / handshake and then he asks me "Why didn't you tell me that Mischa & Cameron were coming?".

J: You're not seriously still hung up on my sister are you?
N: No, i'm not. I just don't like that Cameron kid.
J: Whatever bro i'm not dumb.
N: I'm being serious, I can't stand him he's a big douche.
J: How? He's one of the nicest guys I know.
N: No he's not it's just a show.
J: Whatever you say man, let's not start anything, we're here for a good time and to enjoy the beach.
N: Aight bro, it's in the past now.

Mischa's POV

So we get to the beach and everything is going good until Nate shows up. That's when it all got awkward as fuck. Him & Jack excused themselves from us and all I can think is "oh god please don't tell me he's telling Jack about what happened last night". They eventually  come back to us and they both seem normal. That's how I knew Nate didn't tell him because Jack would've talked to me about it but he hasn't.

We all were laying there sunbathing. Not even speaking any words just literally laying and tanning. I forgot to put on sun lotion before we left so I asked everyone if they had any sun lotion and Rebecca said Nate did. I asked I could use some and he agreed. I started putting it on but then I needed help because I can't reach my back. I asked Jack if he could put some on my back and he moaned and asked Nate if he could do it instead. As awkward as this is I asked Nate if he could put some lotion on my back and he agrees.

While he's rubbing the lotion on my back a familiar voice comes from behind us "How is my favourite nephew & beautiful niece doing?". We both turn and it was Nate's aunt Kristine. By the way yes she did call me niece. She's called me that ever since Nate & I were a thing. I get along with her very well, she's always there for me and has been there for me ever since I was young. I love her.

M: Awww hey kristine, i'm good  how are you? I say running up to give her a hug.
N: Hey aunty i'm good i'm good, how are you?  Nate says also going to give her a hug.
K: I'm good thank you guys, It's nice to see you two are still together and come up here still.

Nate & I both looked at each other awkwardly and so did the rest of the group. That's when we said that we're not together anymore and that we're seeing other people. JJ & Jack already know her so they don't need an introduction. We all started introducing her to our partners. This is my girlfriend Mallory, JJ said. This is my girlfriend Katie, Jack said. This is my girlfriend Rebecca, Nate said. And this is my boyfriend Cameron, I said. (oh yeah did I forget to mention, when i went back to Camerons he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes :') ) 

Kristine: Well it's lovely to meet all of you, i'll let you guys get back to it. I'll make you guys some lunch so just come up to my house when you guys are ready!!
