Oliver's POV

A few weeks passed and things with Thea and I have gotten back to a steady pace, so to speak. After Rory left; Thea took his place as speedy and honestly, I enjoy the fact that we're fighting together and not each other. I look at Thea who's standing next to me with determination plastered on her face.

"Are you ready?" she turns her head to me and nods while reaching for her hood to pull it over her head.

"After you Oli..." I look through the glass ceiling of the factory to see a girl stroll through the front door wearing a black mask that covered her forehead and eyes. Faintly resembling the appearance of a skull, when I look closely, I can see the aggression in her eyes.

"What's going out there?" I stand there staring down at the masked girl as Digs voice hits my ear through the comms. "Who's the girl in the mask?"

"it's Cassia"

"How can you tell she's wearing a mask?" I ask her.

"I don't know why, but seeing her eyes once, I feel I can just recognize them anywhere. Plus, the scar on her upper lip gives her away"

"Do you know why she's here?" I look at her with a questioning glance. "She's your friend, isn't she?"

"I've only talked to her once at Verdant and through messages. Why would asking if she's a secret vigilante come up?"

"Well you talk about her all the time, I figured it'll just come up"

She rolls eyes and I could feel felicity rolling her eyes too back at the base. I'm pretty sure Digs is shaking his head at how overprotective I'm being. I look back to watch what's going on, the drug dealers all raise their guns at her. Promising to shoot if she doesn't walk away, she smiles for a second then charges forward as she deploys a shield to protect her from the rounds of bullets.

"Shit!" we jump through the glass ceiling, shooting off arrows when we hit ground floor.

"You didn't say go!" shouted Digs as he came out letting off rounds from his handgun. "We need communication!"

"I thought the sound of bullets flying was a given!"

"Well it's not!"

"Will you guys stop acting like a couple of pansies!?"

"We wouldn't have to act that way if your friend wasn't here" I yell back as I watch Thea's friend viciously beatdown four guys in the span of a minute.

Once the last guy was down, I see her stomping a man's head in with her high heeled boots. "Hey!" I yell at her. "That's enough! Anymore and he'd be dead!"

She stops, then takes a deep breath "I'm sorry, I just really hate drug dealers" she glances at Thea. "And also, for not telling you about what I do. Everyone has something to hide it seems"

"Wait? You know who she is?"

"Well yeah, I can recognize those eyes anywhere"

"Awe! That's so sweet" felicity playfully swoons over the comms.

"So, who are you?" I ask as I ignore felicity's awe.

"You don't need to answer that, my brother's just overly paranoid" Dig nods in agreement.

"It's fine" she walks over the unconscious men on the ground, but not without kicking them first. "Cassia Young, my parents are criminals. Drug traffickers for the Spanish Cartel if you wanna be specific. I hate my parents for what they stand for, all the lies, backstabs just to make some money. So, I left my family. I wanted to bring my brothers with me, but they chose to stay and live the good life full of riches my mother and father offered. I lived on the streets for some time, was captured by the Cartel a few times, that's how I got the scar on my lip. I decided to toughen up, learn to fight. So, I studied different martial arts styles for a few years. Then I found out that my brothers overdosed on drugs and I was distraught. I didn't know what to do, I abandoned my brothers, left them in a bad life. That's when I decided to become Black Skull. And here we are"
