Third-person

Sounds of an obnoxious alarm rang on the corner of Thea's end table. She Tossed and turned in the bed, trying her best to block out the noise with her pillow. Without looking she reached for her phone, hitting nothing but bed sheet and wood at first. Yanking her bright red pillow to the side, she swung her legs over the edge of the bed. A small shiver ran through her body as her feet graced the chilly wooden floors.

Thea wiggled her toes a bit, adjusting the temperature of the cold floors through her feet. A yawn escaped her as she stretched her thin arms in the air, followed by a light moan. She hears her phone buzz then ding, curious as to who it is she picked up. "A message from Cassia?" Thea smirked at the thought of Cassia. For someone she met weeks ago, they were getting awfully close to each other and she honestly enjoyed every time she got to spend with her. Her message read:

(I wanna see you again) red rose on Thea's cheeks, she enjoyed seeing Cassia's needy side. It made her feel wanted as if she was the only person Cassia thought of.

(I want to see you too) she confidently texted back. Quickly hitting the send button before she thought of deleting the message. The phone rang again, Oliver's number spread across the screen along with a picture of his stoic face. "What's up Oli?"

"I was just calling to see what you were up to"

"Nothing really just woke up actually"

  "It's twelve?"

"So?" Thea stood from her bed, grooming her hair as she walked to the kitchen. "I'm not working till the club opens. Besides, I can sleep in if I want to" she spoke in defense of her independence.

"I'm not saying that you can't sleep in I'm just saying you need to get out more"

Thea rolled her eyes as she gulped down orange juice. She huffed when her phone buzzed again, (Meet me for coffee?)

(Sure) she typed trying her hardest not to sound too desperate in her text. "Thea you there?" Oliver's voice popped back into her head as if he was trying to push the thought of Cassia out of the way.

"Yeah I actually got plans today" a chipper expression coated her face. "I'm meeting up with Cassia for coffee!"

"You sound very happy about that"

"Maybe... it's just nice to have a new friend, you know" lying through her teeth even if she knew of her viewpoint on said subject.

"I'm glad she's a friend too" Thea grinned at Oliver's change of heart. Knowing how protective he is of family.

  "Right...See ya"

"Bye," she tossed her phone gently onto the island. Rushing to her closet for something cute to wear.

An hour later Thea sat comfortably at a coffee table, a fresh graceful gust of air brushed her midriff. She's composed yet worried at the same time. Even if those two nerves are contradictory. The wind settled, leaving only anxiousness behind as she checked her watch. "She's only fifteen minutes late. However, I did get here a bit early" Thea spoke the truth, all the while trying to comfort her self in case of the inevitable.

Minutes later Cassia strolled up with a daydreamy look on her face. "lo siento, llego Tarde Hermosa. I didn't know I had to walk so far"

"It's fine" Thea mumbled in relief. "Wait you walked here?" Cassia didn't hear Thea, she was to busy being charmed by the figure in front of her. "My eyes are up here" Thea bit her bottom lip.

"sí mi ángel" she fastened her eyes to Thea's, trapping hazel-green to grey. "I don't own a car so I had to walk here"

They sat down not breaking eye contact, Thea's palms sweaty and her mouth losing moister. "So..." Green eyes darting to the contents of the menu. "What coffee do you want?"

"Oh, I hate coffee" Cassia admitted, attention still fastened to Thea's face.

"What! If you hate coffee, then why did you want to meet here?"

"Because all I can think about is seeing you. Where was a second thought to me, I didn't care in the slightest about the where. Just the when" Thea's heart beat hard, she swore she could feel her mind asking for control. "además de mi ángel, they have other drinks don't they?"
