Chapter 1 : The Golden Tickets

Y/N Pov

As mom tried to wake up me and Charlie, She shouted "Y/N!, Charlie!, Get up, let's go. Charlie is gonna be late" Charlie got up and rushed down. I put on my sweater, I went down and greeted my family. "Hi, mom" as I kissed her on the cheek. Mom was making a small breakfast, Mom looked very tired. I helped her out with the breakfast, as I rubbed circles on her back "Mom, You know how much we are lucky to have you" She smiled and kissed me on the forehead. Dad got up, He put his plate in the sink, Kissed mom and gave Charlie and me a hug, He grabs his stuff " See you all tonight family" as he shut the door behind him.

Charlie looked at the clock "I'm gonna be late Y/N! Let's go!" as I grabbed my scarf and jacket while Charlie was getting ready by the door. He opened the door, As we walked he held my hand. We walked by the factory almost every day Charlie and I, We purpose walk slow by the factory to take in the smell. The smell of chocolate stained the air, Charlie had no time to take in the smell today "Y/N I have to go, I'm gonna be late" Charlie turned to run but I quickly stopped him, I crouched down to his height. "Hey, Wheres my hug?" Charlie giggled. He ran into my arms and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll see you after school, I love you Y/N" ran off, smiling to myself. I looked at my watch. 8:30 AM. I still had half hour until my shift started, Since I'm by the factory, Why not enjoy the last bit while it lasts. As I walked slowly by the factory and just stood there. I closed my eyes, unaware of my surroundings. someone bumped into me "watch it kid" as he shoved me. I fell to the ground. "I- I- I'm- I'm sorry sir," I said embarrassed, I kept stuttering to the man. I was on the ground while the man was yelling at me in front of the factory.

As I tried to ignore his words while getting up but things took a turn "What the hell were you doing standing in then the middle of the sidewalk, Someone should teach you some manner, young girl" It seemed this man had some anger issues, I closed my eyes and waited for him to hit but it never came. I open my eyes to see another man with short hair, round black glasses, a black coat on, and a cane, his hand was holding the other man's wrist.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. that's not how we treat a lady, is it? I say you better keep moving before things get unpleasant" The man who saved me had a grin on his pale face. The man who tried to hit me was shocked but he snapped out of it and walked away. you snapped out of my shock and felt a stinging pain in my hand, and cheek. As you touched your face, you see blood. "You need a hand?" he held out his hand as you turned towards him and you grabbed it "ah-" as my stinging pain on my cheek was stinging even more while the cold breeze was hitting it.

"that man really scrapped you up pretty bad didn't he?" the man said. As he took off his gloves and held my cheek and looked at me for a long time then he snapped out of it blushing "You never know when your gonna need these, Heh" as he reached inside his coat and pulled out a little kit. As he wiped the blood from your cheek and your hands, he puts a bandaid on your hand. it had imprints of little candy on it. "there good as new" as he gave me a smile and giggle as well. His giggle was so cute that I giggled back, He was so adorable. I looked at my watch. 8:50 AM. "Well thank you so much" as I walked away not knowing his name was. as you were a couple of feet away "You- you can call me Willy" as he chucked " Hi Willy, My name is Y/N" as you smiled, then you realized the time.

"Oh I'm sorry Willy but I got to go, I'm gonna be late for my shift" I quickly panicked, I'll see you around, okay?" Willy nodded, But I don't know if I'll ever see him again but I quickly gave him a hug, He got all tensed up for a second but relax and then I walked away.

-Later in the day-

I worked all day but it was worth it, I had a bit of money left over to buy something small. As I began to close up, I heard the bells chime while the door open, In came excited Charlie "Y/N come quickly" as he was jumping up and down "Hold on Charlie" as I giggled. As I closed the shop Charlie grabbed my hand and yanked me to the pole where this piece of paper was "Look Y/N Look! Mr.Wonka's factory is opening up again" after reading it to Charlie, Apparently, Mr.Wonka is opening up his factory to five kids who find the golden ticket in the randomly selected Mr.Wonka's candy bars and the child may bring one guardian "th- that's awesome Charlie" as I stuttered with a smile.
