One year later

"Ellie it's time to wake up for school!" Grace exclaimed as she enter my room without knocking. I sat up in bed, exhausted from the night before. "I want more sleep!" I whine as I lay back down and buried my face into my pillow.

"But we have school!" Cried Grace as she jumped on my bed and snatch my pillow away from my grasp. "Plus Daddy will be very angry." She added shaking her head at me. I suck into a breath and got up from bed and get ready for school. Grace hopped off the bed and ran out of the room to get ready for school.

So starting as today, I am a Senior at Foxborough Senior High and I couldn't be more nervous or wxciting. Not to mention, this is a perfect time to convince my father for letting me to join the football team.

I take a quick shower and walk into my walk-in closet to see what I am going to wear. It took some time, but I decided to wear my patriots logo shirt with our slogan 'do your job' with black jeans with a pair of vanns. I let out my hair and it's wavy as it past my shoulder. I stare at myself in the mirror and I got to admit, I am pretty but average.

Ellie's outfit:

I grabbed my bag and walk down the stairs, where I found Dad in the kitchen making breakfast. I walked up to him and kiss his cheek. "Morning," I said as I sat down at the counter.

"Good Morning El," My dad replied as he put the scramble eggs onto a plate and place it in front of me.

"May I asked you something Dad?"

"Sure, what is it sweetheart?"

I suck into a breath and thought about what I should say? Without upsetting Dad. I mean, I grew up around football and it's in my blood. I am a Brady. Football is a part of me. "I want to tryout for the football team?" I said carefully, watching my dad's expression.

My dad blank as he give me one of his stern looks. "Absolutely you may not! Football isn't a girl's sport! We been through this Ellie million of times!" He yelled as he slammed down the spaula on the counter.

"But, football is in my blood Dad!" I cried being stubborn as always. It's his fault. I got the stubbornness from him. "Please just let me tryout?" I pleaded not backing down from a fight.

"Ellie eat your breakfast and continue getting ready for school! I don't want you to be late on your first day." Dad replied ending the conversation as Grace entered the kitchen and sat down beside me.

"Good Morning, Daddy." My little sister said brightly as Dad smiled as he saw his younger daughter. "Morning baby girl," he said with a wink as he prepared her breakfast.
