<p data-p-id="972b3b1b6585dd244b68507e80179b73">"Mum, can you watch Sebastian, please?" I whispered. It was silent for a moment, the only sound was the soft hum of Mexican music and the drivers hand tapping on the wheel. "Yes of course Hun, but I must ask, are you alright?" she asked with worry oozing out of her. I let out a soft sigh. "I'm fine mum, anyways I must go, I'll see you tomorrow" I mumbled. My mother bid me farewell before they hung up. The driver stopped at the store letting me slip out and run into the Liquor Store. The cabby sat waiting in the parking lot singing to his Mexican music. I rolled my eyes and jogged into the store and grabbed three bottles of red wine and three cases of beer. I pushed the trolly over to the counter and paid and began pushing the trolly towards the cab. The old man must have noticed my struggles because he jumped out and helped me. "Oh no, it's fine sir" I smiled. He laughed lightly. "Oh no dear, it's fine!" he said, his words were heavy with his accent. A small smile sat on my lips as I agreed to let him help. We put it all in the back of the car and both got back in.

-25 minutes later-

We arrived at my apartment and I smiled. "Thanks Carlos!" I grinned. He gave me a pained smiled. "Don't fake a smile dear" he said sadly. He handed me card. "If you need to speak, I'm happy to listen" He smiled. I thanked him and paid before grabbing my shit and going
Upstairs. What a lovely Mexican man. I set everything in the kitchen and walked into my bedroom. NO TIME FOR PANTS! I slid of my pants and threw on a large jumper. I grabbed my Mayday Parade albums and shoved them into my CD player and turned it all the way up. I trudged into the kitchen and grabbed my wine bottle and popped it open. "Cheers to being alone!" I screamed. I chugged at the bottle and swayed to the music.

* 15 minutes later *

"OH CAN'T YOU TELL I HAVEN'T SLEPT VERY WELL SINCE THE LAST TIME WE SPOKE! YOU SAID PLEASE UNDERSTAND I'VE BEEN DRINKING AGAIN AND ALL I DO IS HOPE.....PLEASE STAAAAAAAAAAAAY" I slurred out. I danced around my living room/kitchen singing into my beer bottle. The song changed to Still Breathing making me freeze. I let out a shriek and threw my half full bottle across the room making it smash. I laughed hysterically before I fell into a violent fit of sobs. "IM TRYING TO BE A MAN AND IM DOING ALL I CAN, IM READY TO GIVE THIS ALL I HAVE, IM READY TO BE AMAZED!" I cried. "COZ IM STANDING HERE ALONE! TRYING TO MAKE THIS LIFE MY OWN!" I wailed. I slowly stood up and stumbled around the room. I stood on the glass from the broken bottle. I frowned at the blood. "Hello old friend" I chuckled. I yanked the glass out and pursed my lips.

Maybe the world is better off without me...
