prologue

Logan laid back on his simple bed in his simple room.

Everything was simple, minmalistic, tiny, unnoticable.

He was a hurricane of emotions, but like every storm, there was a calm before it. This was the calm.

The only sound was the simple tick tock of his clock. Slow, unbearbly slow.

"Logy~" Remus appeared, as much of a meance as ever. He has to be up to no good, he must be, he was a dark side after all... "Happy birthday, nerd,"

Logan paused, everybody else had forgotten. But here Remus was...

"Oh, thanks," Logan mumbled, monotone and boring and confused.

"Yeah, yeah, heres a birthday gift," Remus threw the thing he was hiding, which turned out to be a fuzzy small black bear. He was just big enough for Logan to hug, and he smelled of Crofters jam. "Whenever I think of you I think of black bears, calm creatures until you fuck with them, also obbesion with jam-" Remus laughed and Logan was touched.

"Knowing you it probably explodes," Logan tossed the bear towards the end of the bed.

"Heart shatter," Remus mumbled, only to himself, "Anyways! See ya Logy!" He smiled, though it seemed deflated.

Logan didn't move, just watching the tipped over bear he had so casually tossed aside...before grabbing it, and hugging it tightly to his chest.
