bokuto and akaashi has always been close, but somehow, they've become like gum and a shoe. impossible to separate.

they've done everything from studying, to cooking, and even sleeping in the same bed for the past few weeks.

it seems like stress is a thing from the past now. i've been strangely euphoric now. all of my writings and literature assignments have gone from my usual down to earth topics, to talking about joy, love, and happiness.

and i know exactly the cause of it.

it's been a nice and short studying session with bokuto-san. my brain seems to take in information better somehow.

seeing my best friend light up when he gets a question correct is so endearing to watch. makes me want to just hug him.

of course i won't do that (i think), but my thoughts of him are starting to get more lovey dovey.

might fuck around and just kiss him.

haha just kidding... unless?

so, i'm currently eating ice cream with akaashi and watching a video of us playing when we were in highschool.

i really miss those days. i miss akaashi setting to me and calling me ace. him cheering me on.

third pov;;

midway through the game, giggling can be heard. they're both laughing at their young highschool faces. bokuto laughing at his easy-to-hit missed shot, and akaashi at how he had to comfort the other boy.

"i missed seeing you smile this much. i'm glad i interfered with that stressful schedule of yours" bokuto said. fixing his glasses, the other boy leaned into him, looking up.

"thank you, my little owl senpai" he joked.

bokuto didn't laugh though.

instead, he gave he gave akaashi a firm and short kiss on lips.
