She sat under the big oak tree, wrapped in her arms. She held her head up towards the sky and looked deeply into the night.
The wind blew gently through her hair. The crickets chirped soft melodies. The stars shine bright and the leaves rustle in the cool midnight wind.
The young lady stared for a long while, not moving nor blinking. She took in the vastness of the sky while breathing in a fresh breath of air.
That's what it felt like looking at the sky. Taking a fresh breath of air. All your stress and worries drift away and you become peaceful.
As the girl kept looking, she felt a tinge of sadness build in her stomach, slowly turning into a knot. She soon began to cry, for she realized her pain and suffering is not endless. She finally felt serenity.----------
This one is based off of an experience I had earlier today. I was out looking at the stars when I had all these emotions come together. All my worries seemed so small compared to the vastness of the sky.
I cried that night. For no particular reason. It just felt good to loosen that knot in my stomach and take a breath of some fresh air.
