Billie's eyes fluttered open slowly to the steady beeping of the heart monitor, and she let out a long breath, feeling drained. She was completely sore and felt stiff. Not to mention the light headache she was still experiencing.

"Billie? You awake?" A familiar voice that she hadn't heard in a while spoke.

She sniffled, clearing her throat and looking in the direction of the voice. Finneas. She also saw Derek and Sarah watching over her in with concerned faces.

Smiling, he stood up and hugged her ever so tightly. She had missed him so much and to see him in person just felt like a huge weight had been lifted of her shoulders.

"Hey. I'm so sorry. I should have been here when you went to see her." Finneas said with an upset tone. "But I hadn't showered in almost a week so Claudia forced me home. I'm just glad to see that you are awake and healthy. I don't know what I would have done without you."

Billie smiled, not really sure how to respond. It was weird to be in his presence again after not being for so long. "I missed you too, Fin"

The four of them sat there patiently waiting for Dr. Stevens to return with the diagnosis. Sarah sat down of the edge of the bed, leaning down and kissing Billie's forehead, smoothing back the hair on her face comfortingly. Derek was pacing back and forth, chewing on his fingernails, clearly anxious about everything that was occuring.

After Billie had finally woken up, they had been informed that she had suffered from a tonic clonic seizure that was most likely as a result of the traumatic head injury she suffered. Drew had cried and told her parents and Finneas to come immediately, and though Drew had wanted everyone there to support Billie, the doctor had sanctioned against it on account of the fact that Billie was still recovering and overwhelming her with too many people wasn't a good idea. So for that reason Drew had gone down to the cafeteria deciding it would be best if Finneas took her place and he had just arrived.

But Dr. Stevens had immediately taken her to run various scans on her brain and give her a full physical as was custom after a first seizure. It took the better part of several hours, but once they'd finally been finished with the tests, Billie had been exhausted, and she'd been brought back to the hospital room to sleep. It was truly terrifying for her, not knowing what was going on with her.

And not knowing what was going on with her mother.

No one knew anything about Maggie, and Billie had begged them not to go find out or tell her. She was afraid. Scared. And the last thing she needed was her heart broken by someone telling her what she already had a feeling she knew deep down. That her mother...

Billie closed her eyes and took a deep breath when her heart started racing in fear. She wouldn't think about it. No. Not right now.

"Billie, I want you to know we're all here for you" Sarah said, gently stroking her cheek and wiping away some errant tears, "Whatever you need or whatever is on your mind, we'll be here.

"Thanks" Billie whispered with a sniffle, her voice a little small.

"And Derek, sit down please. You're not helping with all the nervous pacing." Sarah chastised.

He sat in one of the chairs beside Billie's bed, but jiggled his leg up and down, clearly still anxious about everything.

"Where is Prince's humour when you need it at a time like this..." Billie joked quietly, glancing at Finneas.

Where's Brandon when I really need some reassurance?

"He's in the waiting room of this floor playing with some of the kids."
