Halsey's P.O.V
Nam-joon and I were waiting in the short line to order food. It didn't make sense that we all should take twice the amount of time to wait for the food so the rest stayed behind while Nam-joon and I ordered. They already gave us their orders and the orders of Jimin, V, and Suga. It was our turn to order and Nam-joon spoke into the intercom.
"Order me two large fries with my cheeseburger and Oreo McFlurry," I whispered to him and he nodded.
While he ordered I scratched in the back seat for my suitcase that had my favourite fluffy blanket. I found it and turned back around, slipping off my shoes and getting comfortable. We moved forward collecting our food and drove to Jungkook's car.
"At last!" Jin hollered reaching out his window to get the food from Nam-joon.
"Hand over V's food too," Jungkook instructed over Jin's shoulder.
Nam-joon handed it over and we drove towards home. Home, I smiled. Their home was now mine for the next six months, as well. The thought of this makes me giddy.
"Are you okay over there?" Nam-joon asked and gave me a side glance before concentrating back on the road.
"Yeah, why?" I turned to him and smiled.
"Because of that! Just look at your face. You look like your face is about to split open," he side glanced me again and grinned.
I, immediately, sobered up and pouted. He jumped when I flicked his ear.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" He cried out looking at me with a frown.
"You insulted me for being happy to see you all which is very mean, might I add. You were supposed to be nice to me because of it!"
He rolled his eyes but it was obvious that he was fighting back a smile. I yawned and snuggled further into my warm and fuzzy blanket.
"Joon?"
"Yes?"
"Sing me something," I yawned again.
I couldn't help it. I woke up at 4 a.m this morning and drove for about two hours before arriving at the helicopter PD, their boss, has sent for me. Note to self: Don't forget to thank PD. I was so tired that I could probably sleep for the whole six months.
"What do you want me to sing?" He asked.
"Anything," I mumbled in reply.
He thought for a moment and began singing something in Korean. I giggled at how sweet it was that he was trying his best to sing to me. His voice was deep with a bit of a rasp to it. It sounded lovely. Before, I knew what was happening my eyes began closing and I sighed while drifting off.
Someone, gently, shook me and I yawned fluttering my eyes open.
"We're here," Nam-joon whispered and turned the engine off.
I nodded and gathered my shoes and blanket while he got out to grab my suitcases. I got out the car to help but he shook his head and handed me the McDonald's bag with our food in it and pointed towards the house. I nodded again and tiredly shuffled to the house my shoes and blanket in one hand and the food in the other. I was about to knock then stopped myself. I laughed at how stupid I was being. I opened the door and my mouth dropped opened. My house was huge but this took the cake. It was like I was walking into an 8-star hotel. The entrance was a mint green colour due to the ginormous green chandelier dangling from the ceiling and the fountain on my left which had green LED lights that made the silver pebbles inside of it shine. In front of me was an Amboya wooden staircase covered with engravings. I could see the living room on my right since there was no door but only an open arch. The room barely consisted of any walls. It was all glass, besides, a bit of brick supporting the marble fireplace. A lovely scene of greenery was showcased through the glass. How didn't I notice that the house was surrounded by a forest? It was, probably, because I was too tired to notice anything other than my sock covered feet. This was, absolutely, the best location to live in. It looked so peaceful and, although, the house was decorated with so many fancy things it still had a calm and serene feel to it.
