"Yes mum ... I know I'm twenty five still living in a flat with no love life but I enjoy running Rover .. its not a silly dream. Yes I know Matt has children and is dating someone by in my defence without Rover .. Matt would never have met Keith or fallen in love with him so at least give my Bar some credit. *Sighs* Yes I know the love of my life wouldnt just walk into my life unless I work to meet him or her half way but ... Hey matt only had the twins due to his ex girlfriend who did walk out on him and the twins when they were just six months old .. I'm not being mean but it proves not everyone we fall in love stays.... No I don't need you to do a marriage meeting ... urr why because I actually have a date today .. yep he really good to me and its our third date might become something ... Oh look at the time gonna be late .. Love you mum" Pidge quickly hanged up the phone taking a deep breath before looking to the clock only seeing it was ten in the morning. 

Pidge loved her mum, she really did but her mum had hoped she would either be a cop like her dad or a doctor like her. Instead She used the money they gave her for her collage days to go towards her pub .. she took classes on how to run a pub and making drinks lessons before buying the place and naming it Rover after her invisible friend from her childhood days. 

But while her parents didnt learn about Rover until Pidge was twenty two, her dad seemed proud of her she hid it from them so well and how well Rover was doing, he even comes for a drink now and then while catching up with his daughter while she worked. But her mum, she thought it was still just a teenage dream that will do nothing for her daughter, finally knowing her daughter as stubborn as her she gave up trying to get Pidge to sell Rover. 

But now she wants her daughter to settle down like once she turns thirty it be the end of the world. Pidge had relationships, like four within her life circle so far but it was still a dating past even if they ended up with them cheating on her then blaming her for them cheating before dumping her. Pidge guessed she was Bi since she dated three guys and one chick and felt the same love for both genders. Its just she never really been one to fall crazy in love and her mum expected marriage out of each relationship.

Pidge wanted to get married and start a family one day but she wanted the right person standing by her side, she wanted to love them as much as they love her. She just never met anyone who took much interest in her or stayed. She knew she wasnt no golden apple and she didn't have much to offer making her not catch many eyes. So, she was even more scared when her mum tried hooking her up with people from work or workmates children becuase it just ended horribly when her lying to her mum saying they just didn't have a spark when it in truth she saw the disappoint in the other eyes when meeting her. 

Taking another deep breath before sliding her phone in her light green shoulder bag, her keys, headphones and purse already inside along with a pen and tissues. She glanced to her feet seeing her favourite dark green all stars on her feet before heading to the front door. Her work unifrom inside Rover break room, she takes it home at the end of the week to clean unless something spills over her then she brings it home and use her spare work outfit. 

"See you later Green" Pidge called out to her cat she got when she first got her flat after getting Rover .. the first month she lived in rover break room before finally getting a flat and buying Green the cat as a roommate. Green had black fur with bright green eyes, a grass green collar around her neck with a star shape name tag.
