dear diary, today was the absolute worst. i've never wanted to punch a person in the face as much as i have with beverly marsh. she's so rude! how can she live with herself without feeling bad? she targeted ben today, he's literally done nothing to her. first she was after richie and now ben. she's trying to destroy everything in my life!! the only good part of my day was that richie asked me out on a date. well a hangout, but it's basically a date. i'll keep you updated.

FLASHBACK TO EARLIER TODAY

"eddie!" bev snapped while i not so subtlety stared at richie.

"yes miss marsh?"

"come help me!"

"with?" i said sarcastically

"we're gonna write a fake note to ben saying that i invited him as my date to patrick's party. it will be hilarious." she spoke.

"bev i don't think that's a good idea. he's not a bad guy"

"never said he wasn't, kaspbrak. but it'll be fun! cmon let loose ed"

i walked to the other side of the table and read what bev had already written down. dear benny boo, patrick hockstetter's having a party! i was wondering if you'd like to accompany me to it?

"bev, this is mean."

"oh well, anything else i should add? oo wait! i'll put walk up to me with your answer please <3 then we can laugh in his face about it!"

i stayed silent as she signed the note.

"eddie, go give this to him." she said

i walked over to bens table with the note in hand.
~3rd person pov~
"hey ben"

"hi eddie! how are you on this lovely day?"

"it'd be better if i wasn't forced to hang with bev" i chuckled

"she's so gorgeous though, if only she wasn't so rude."

"hey ben, can i ask you a favor?"

"of course eddie"

"can you walk up to bev and say 'no'?"

"uh yeah sure"

ben started walking towards beverlys table. she stood up and looked him in the eyes.

"hi benny boo" she chuckled, "i see my dear eddie brought you over."

"he did" ben inhaled "might as well get this out of the way. no bev, sorry" he lightly smiled as he walked away.

"that piece of-" bev was cut off by eddies hand covering her mouth. she smacked his hand away and found eddie staring at none other than richie tozier.

"i'll be back" eddie trailed off as he went to richies lunch table.

"well hello my handsome asthmatic prince" richie said as he moved over to make room for eddie.

"hi rich" eddie said barley above a whisper.

"whats wrong my lovely spaghetti boy"

eddie rolled his eyes at the nickname but told richie anyways, "just bev again, she won't give me a break."

"well eds, maybe you could come to my place tonight. i could take your mind off of things" he said with a wink.

"gross richie"

"whaddya say eds, you, me, some con-"
~eddies pov~
"shut up richie" i said. i grabbed a nearby piece of paper and got a pencil out of my fannypack. i jotted down my number. "text me your address, i'll see you tonight. 4:00 work?"

"anything works as long as i'm with you eddie spaghetti"

"not my name richie" i said as i walked away

"eddie are you kidding me" bev said

i ignored her and walked away. the rest of the day was extremely boring. the whole time richie was on my mind. we only had one class together which was the last period of the day. we didn't get to talk much cuz the teacher, mr.rocco, was always irritated for some reason. as soon as the bell rang, i ran to my locker and got in bills car. bill was the only one of us with a license, so he was essentially our chauffer. no matter how much i hated them, i refused to walk home.
