Chapter 5 // Break Time //

Hinata's POV

We have been playing for a while now, it's almost 11 PM. We decided to take a little break to get some snacks. I don't want to eat though. I'm not hungry, plus right now the thought of food is making me feel sick. I just want to go back to playing, it's distracting me from all my emotions. I believe that my emotions are wanting to kill me. Everyday is the same routine. I wake up, pretend to be happy for the whole day. Then, very late at night, when everyone is asleep, I cry, I cry till my mind can't stand it anymore. Then, it starts all over again.

"Shoyo?" I hear from behind me. I look and I see Kenma eating fruit snacks.

"What is it, Kenma?" I say.

"Do you want any snacks? There is a lot of people you know, and I don't you want you to be hungry because you didn't eat." He says. He puts another one in his mouth. 

"I'm not hungry. Even if I was, I probably wouldn't get food. I don't need it." I tell him. He gets a sad look on his face.

"You do need food, to live. I want you alive. The world would basically be nothing without you. Yes, I have Kuroo, but, you're different. I feel more alive with you." He explains. I feel my face burning up. How can he say such a thing about me.

"I'll be fine. Skipping out on snacks doesn't change much for me. Like I said, I'm not even hungry." I say. 

"Sorry if this seems out of no where, but, why don't you tell anyone about your pain? Not telling anyone your pain will only make it worse. I don't want you so sad all the time... It pains me seeing you like this." 

"Well, I guess I'm scared. Plus it's easier hiding it, then causing someone to worry. It's not like anyone will care, if they notice my pain." I tell him. I know I'm right. Everyone here knows my pain, but no one is seeming to care.

"That's not particularly true, I noticed, and I care. When ever you want to tell me, you can. I will have your back, I will protect you, I will save you. I will be there for you whenever no one else can. Please believe what I am going to next. We all care, we will all do our best to save you." He says to me.

"You are talking a lot more then normal. I'm kinda surprised."

"I'm willing to talk more with you. Uh- um- can you- can you come with me for a minute?" He asks. I nod my head and start walking with him.

Kenma's POV

He walks right beside me, I am almost tempted to hold his hand. I am starting to get nervous. I know we are kinda in a middle of a game to guess each other's crushes, but, I can't wait any longer to tell him. Once we get to a tree outside I start climbing it. Shoyo simply just jumps to the branch and grabs it to get on it. We are now both sitting on the branch. 

"So what did you want to come here for?" He asks. I look at him in the eyes, and scoot closer to him. 

"Shoyo, I know that right now is not the best timing, considering we are in a middle of a game for crushes, but I love you. I want to be with you forever. I want to be the one who gets to kiss you whenever. I want to be your boyfriend." I say. He starts blushing.

"Are you being real with me? Do you really love me? Are you just joking?" He is freaking out.

"Of courseI am being real with you. I honestly don't see how anyone could hate you. You are such a amazing person. I couldn't live in a world with out you." I tell him. Tears start falling down his face, but they are different from the one from earlier. These seem like tears of happiness. 

"I would love to be your boyfriend. I love you so much!" He says. I start leaning into him closer, he does the same. We are about to kiss that was until, 

"Hey! There you guys are! We are about to continue the game." Someone says. I honestly forgot his name. Shoyo jumps up.

"Tanaka! You scared me so much!" He says.

"Sorry, Hinata. Anyways, I'll go ahead, please don't take too long." Tanaka says and runs off. Me and Shoyo start climbing down the tree and once we get to the bottom I pin him against the tree and kiss him. I pull away and see that he is a blushing mess. 

"Kenma! Why did you do that?!" He asks me.

"I did it because I love you. I have been wanting to kiss you for a long time now and thought this was my chance to finally do so." I tell him. He starts blushing even harder and we walk back. Once we get back, Kuroo says,

"Took you guys long enough, we are going to start. Sit down." Me and Shoyo go back to our spot, this time Shoyo is sitting in my lap, I hug onto his waist. Everyone is looking at us kind of confused but they ignore it and start up the game.
