* Soulmate AU ! * When your soulmate gets hurt so do you . Bruises , cuts , broken bones , aching legs , ect.
"𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 ! " Your friend yelled as they wrapped your fingers in bandage wrap .
"This soulmate of mine is getting on my nerves " You grumble looking down at the sore and bruised hands you had .
"Well think of it this way y/n " Your friend looked up at you with a bright smile "either they are very athletic or completely stupid "
"Oh yeah makes me feel so much better " You put the wrap back in your bag . Considering how much this person got hurt , you carry a bunch of first aid in your bag .
"Did you hear that our boys volleyball team made it to nationals ?" Your friend asked while getting up and walking through the halls of the high school together .
"Yeah I think I saw something about it on the news board . " You replied looking at the group of boys who were staring at you .
You knew exactly why .
The bruises on your knees .
"Have fun last night y/n?" One of them yells before the group laughs and walks away .
You sighed deeply before turning to your friend
"First thing I'm saying to them once I meet them is begging them to wear knee pads ."
"That I can agree with you on " Your friend opened the door to the infirmary to get your fingers checked out in case something bad actually happened .
"Ah yes y/n darling !" The nurse (who you had become good friends with at this point ) Looked down at your hands to see the bandages . "Your soulmate is quite the doozy aren't they?"
"You could say that " You laughed slightly before waving at your friend as she left to walk home .
"Nurse Yui , Do you happen to see anyone with injuries like mine ? " You couldn't help but ask the lady as she put ice on your hand .
She hesitated for a moment before replying
"I do not know for sure darling , but I can say that there is someone who is quite similar . "
"and who might that be ? " You asked before you heard loud voices come from the door .
"Sorry tsukki!!" A boy walked in the room with green hair and freckles before a tall blonde boy (who you had guessed was tsukki ) walked in .
"It's fine yamaguchi , i'll just get them wrapped up like normal . " He paused looking at you and back to the nurse who was sitting at her desk . "Go ahead and walk home , I'll catch up to you "
"Sounds good ! And again Gomen !!" Yamaguchi walked out of the nurses office while you and the blonde made an uncomfortable amount of eye contact .
"Ah! Tsukishima , back again I see " Nurse Yui said, walking over to him before pointing at a spot near you . "Just sit right here and I'll wrap those up for you . "
You saw her walk over to the cabinets and on her way back she sent a wink your way .

"You know Tsukishima , you should really be more careful ! That poor soul mate of yours must be in so much pain " She talked constantly to the boy as you looked towards the ice pack on your fingers , slowly easing the pain .
"I bet they are used to it by now Nurse . " He stated in a monotone voice and looked over slightly to see your hand .
"Well there you go dear , I'm just going to get an ice pack from the other room " The Nurse stood up and left the two of you in awkward silence .
The silence you decided to break
"What happened to you ? " You looked up from your lap to look at his fingers then up to meet his eyes .
The brown eyes softened a little at the question before looking back down to his own fingers .
"I play volleyball , so I get hurt a lot, " He answered before repeating the same question to you .
"Oh , my soulmate seems to do the same . Get hurt a lot " You laughed slightly to see him frown in return . "Oh don't worry , I guess you could say i'm pretty used to it . although I would ask them to wear some knee pads "
You lifted up your skirt a little to show the bruises before looking at him to see his bewildered expression .
"Uh it's not what it looks like ! I think they just play a sport or something !?" You frantically try to explain the situation to prevent him from thinking uh those thoughts about you .
"N-no that's not it "
You look to him with a questionable gaze before he points down to his knees to see that they are in fact bruised .

You could even see the paper cut on his thumb you had gotten from your book earlier on in the week.
It all seemed to make sense .
"Your saying-" You started to stutter looking at him
"We might be-"
"Soulmates" He finished your sentence before chuckling slightly under his breath .
The nurse suddenly came back to the room to see the two of you flustered .
Well one flustered and one kinda blushing
"Well , have you figured it out yet ? " She asked looking between the two of you
"You knew ?" You both questioned , looking at the other before looking back at the lady
"Well of course ! You two kept coming in for the same injuries at practically the same time ! But unfortunately you just kept missing each other . "
"Wow" You mumbled
"Wait a minute " You said looking back at him with slight anger in your eyes . He seemed taken aback by your sudden change in moods .
"WHY DIDN'T YOU EVER WEAR KNEE PADS IDIOT!"
"I kept forgetting them at home " He shrugged .
You pouted a little before standing up and began to walk out of the room , putting the ice pack in the trash . But before walking out the door you turned your head to the confused blonde .
