Chapter 13: A Plan

ARA POV

I look over at Liam as he stares at me a minute before speaking. 

"Well, first ye should realize that da Queen of da Sidhe is yer niece.  And da Queen of da Wolves is me and Conlan's mate and yer sister in law."  My eyes fill with tears as my thoughts whirl in my head.  My sister and I have always wondered why we couldn't see their faces and now I know.  I let out a sigh of relief and cut my eys back to Liam.

"So they don't want to kill me?"  Liam scowls as Fin pulls me from the chair I'm seated in and into his lap.

"Of course not, we're here to help ye come up with a plan to get rid of Lash but first ye really need to break the spell on the castle."  Duncan grumbles grumpily at Liam as he strolls back into the room and sits in my now vacant chair.

"Good luck.  We've been trying for a long time to break it."  At that Phelan chuckles and all eyes turn to him.  He gestures to me as he speaks.

"You do get that she made the deal that got the castle cursed right?  I mean I don't know the details or whatever but she does."  My eyes widen as I realize he's right and I slam my hands on the table as I lean towards him

"You mean I can save Rose?"  Phelan's eyes widen as he cuts a look at Liam.  They stare at each other a moment before both turning to look at me.

"What do you mean Rose?  Rose, as in Duncan's sister? I thought she was dead."  I flinch and look over at Duncan, who is staring down at the table.  I glance over at Fin and he has the same expression on his face.  Confused I purse my lips and think for a second.  My eyes widen as I realize the wording of the curse is making them forget me finding Rose in the garden.  Lis wants it harder for them to break the curse.  I scowl as I glance around the room.

"Why exactly did Lis curse you and why do you think Rose is dead?"

Duncan sighs and look over at me.  "Lis is our stepmother.  Fin was a servant that she broght with her when she married our father.  When Fin and I found out we were mates she was so mad that she cursed us and killed Rose.  Our father tried to stop her but she killed him as well.  Then cursed us and everyone at the castle to live here forever.  People can enter but they can't leave. And Fin and I couldn't be together because she cursed him to the hidden passageways and me to the castle.  I thought when you remembered Fin we'd be free but now..."  I sigh as I think of how to word this without breaking the rules of the curse.

"Do you remember how Fin got free?"   Duncan nods in confusion. 

"Yes you remembered him."  I nod and glance over at Fin.

"And do you remember where I was when I agreed to have sex with you gusy?"  Fin opens his mouth to speak as cold wind fills the room.  I sigh and look over to see Lis standing on the other side of Duncan and everyone else in the room is frozen.  Her eyes are wild with anger as she speaks.

"Don't  you dare!  They will suffer forever for embarrassing me."  My eyes narrow in anger as a voice whispers in my head.

"Yes, break the curse little pet then you can deal with me."  My heart thumps in my chest at Lash's words and Lis smiles at me triumphantly.  Then the room unfreezes and Fin is staring down at me with a confounded expression.

"What was yer question again."  I tense in fear before covering my face with my hands.  What am I going to do now?
