'I'd seem to have awoken in a strange catacomb; I haven't been in this room in absolutely years. Looking down, I was my younger myself. 12 to be exact. Just.

Sitting down in my home bedroom, early evening currently playing with my friend, that's when she began to scream. He was there; He'd been lurking behind the curtain the entire time.

There was blood everywhere filling and clouding my every thought...'

I woke up screaming and crying with Daisy's arms wrapped around me as she gently rocked me back and forth. Rubbing my hair.

'Shhh, it's alright it's only a dream' she would continually repeat. She would also sing gentle lullabies to calm me down. I was treated like a child, but I was in my most vulnerable state, so how can you blame her.

A short while afterwards drifting back to a place some call wonderland, I was wrapped up in a blanket on the sofa with Daisy, not letting me go.

In the Morning, luckily it was a Sunday. I woke up alone, with the smell of burning toast filling my senses. I wondered into the kitchen with a large blanket still wrapped around me, only to be engulfed with a large hug from Daisy.

'Hello Princess, Last night.. It was the first time this has happened in almost a year. What happened?. Her eyes aimlessly searching for mine.

'Dais, That's the thing I'm not sure.. I had a good evening.' I spoke, as I sat down at the breakfast bar.

'Good evening.. Fucking hell Sophia you went on a date with Harry fucking styles' She spoke with a tone of annoyance in her voice, yet she couldn't fight of the smile.

'I know, I can't believe I didn't know.. He was lovely, he was very intriguing' I spoke.

'So when are you seeing him again?!' Her voice full of eagerness.

'Erm well I'm not? We.. He didn't mention anything'.

'Well text him, to say you had a lovely evening?'

'Dais... No.' I sighed. 'Do you not get it? Last night when you came into my room, the dreams came back, I remember it so vividly. There must have been a trigger.' I spoke as my eyes began to fill with tears.

Daisy came and sat down next to me.

'Bub, it was just a glitch. I've been here since day one and I'm not going anywhere, but you need to get yourself together. This could be everything' gently she rubbed my back in reassurance. Apart from my family she was the only one who knew of my nightmares, it's not something I pry on, however it reoccurs in my mind daily.

I struggle to go home now a days, Uni fulfills my time and reading nurtures my brain. I have a horse at home, that has always been the number one priority in my life, she's still there now, just have not seen her in a while.

Anyway like I said running away from situations is never the best idea, however it's that's how you deal with things. RUN. And that is exactly what I did.
