Chapter 2-

The next evening, around 5. I was sitting in the kitchen with Daisy; she was twirling around like a Ballerina with her wavy brown hair souring through the air with a large grin drawn upon her face. She was defiantly an odd character, So far I’ve made her out to be quite a dainty character because that’s what she appears to everyone when first introduced, but as she knows me inside out, it’s safe to say there’s a demon in there.

‘Liv, He’s probably going to be early, and your still in your Pj’s’ A frown etched across her forehead as she dragged me into my bedroom. She opened my wardrobe and starting pulling things out, flying over the room and just ending up in a heap of the floor.

I sat down on my bed, causing it to sink in. My mind was all jumbled. Daisy knew I wasn’t ready to be faced with anything like this. I honestly don’t think I’m capable of handling this.

‘Dais, As exciting as this is I don’t even know the guy, it’s a randomer from a club? After everything I’m still not ready?’ I sighed. Slowly standing up. She dropped everything in her hands to the floor.

‘No, you haven’t come this far to let it all go, this could be everything. You don’t even know who this guy is doing you? Her tone was placid and I just shrugged, why would I know this guy.

‘Oh my gosh Liv, You know what... I’m not going to tell you. I’m going to let you find out’ with that smirk plastered on her face. She threw some clothes at me and left the room gently closing the door behind her.

I put of the black Jeans, along with this white floral print shirt which was ever so pretty. Along with a bomber jacket. I stood looking at myself in the mirror; I’d neatened my hair up as it was a mess. But whatever I was looking at in the mirror, didn’t feel like myself. I don’t think I’ve felt like myself since I was about 12, the incident if you can call it that,  has broken me, leaving me in this nervous wreck, unsure of why I’m still alive at times. This is why my family liked daisy so much you see; she’s always been there, ever since.

6.55pm soon enough came round. Walking out of my bedroom, sure enough my green eyed guy was sitting at the breakfast chatting away to Daisy. I’m pretty sure neither of  them had noticed me, so I continued to watch their interactions, I noticed how his eyes were constantly on hers, dancing around and absolutely fascinated about whatever she was rambling on about. I noticed how although his hair was curly, he had this bandana type thing to hold it all into place, It was a deep blue colour quite contrasting the chocolate brown of his hair, and boy did it make him look good. I don’t understand how I was becoming so infatuated with this stranger.
Something that had occured to be was how, when he looked at you, it was like looking into a light house and a spark would ignite.

Slowly he turned and tilted his head towards me, his eyes deeply absorbed all my features on display, and I walked towards them both, grabbing my back from the side.

‘Hello beautiful’. He whispered into my ear, gently kissing me on the cheek, slightly lingering.

‘Hi, Harry right?’ He nods.

‘I don’t believe we properly met last night...’ I carried on. He smoothly interrupted me.

‘Right of course’ He winks at me.

An hour or so later, still slightly shaken up, due to the fact I’m so nervous. I think he could tell. On the other hand, he was completely different. He wasn’t cocky at all; he was a gentle and easy chap. I also found out he was in the world famous boy band one direction? Who would have known?

‘Soph... Can I call you that; it has a nice ring to it?’ His eyes were practically smiling at me.

‘Yeah... I don’t mind. How come we’re at the Ivy? This restaurant is incredible?’ I spoke.

‘I know, I’m practically a regular now... now tell me about yourself?’ He winks. And something tells me he isn’t joking.

‘Well... What do you want to know? I’m a pretty dull person... I’m currently studying veterinary medicine in London, living with Daisy, which is ridiculously tedious... I Event my horse in my spare time... I...’ All these words of rubbish were pouring out my mouth, I couldn’t stop. But he gently tilt his head back and laughed, his jaw extended and He has an incredibly beautiful jaw line, he was so intriguing I found myself getting lost.

‘Wooah I don't mean what you do with your time, I mean tell me your story’ He roughly spoke. Bringing his drink up to his lips.

'I don't have much of a story really..' playing with my fingers in attempt to defeat the nerves. He chose not to press the subject any further by just nodding. He continued to chatter away, the conversation drifting from the future, to our view on politics, which wasn't my area of exerptise.

'I've got a question for you!' I spoke. placing my spoon down onto my empty plate. Himself leaning forward, placing his elbows into the table.

'True or False.. All is fair in love and war?' With the courage which has been slowly growing as the evening progressed, I looked into his eyes, with only the feeling of looking into a light house. Completely lost.

'True..Great question'. A Large grin spread across his face as he was overly satisified with his answer.

By 10 o’clock we’d been sitting here for what felt like hours, lost in conversation, well he spoke about himself a lot. I learnt about his incredible taste in music, he was a very open guy, he absolutely adores his family. He’s currently on a break from a world tour before embarking on another one. I’ve never really understood how someone can be so open, but in this short space of time, my mind’s been able to relax. For once my thoughts aren’t too deadly. For once I’m distracted and maybe this is what I need. To distract myself.

‘Soph... Do you want to know the reason I asked you out this evening? He says leaning back into his chair, having another sip of his drink, I just shrug causing him to let out a light laugh.

‘When I saw you staring at me last night, you seemed unusual....’ Causing me to raise my eyebrows. ‘No no no, not in a bad way at all, I just could tell that you were different, you look like someone who has secrets’. Looking quite smug.

‘Everyone has secrets’ I sigh. Looking down at my devoured plate.

‘That’s very true, but then again, I’ve been opening up to you all night, and you’ve left a lot to the imagination’. He looked at me so genuinely the way the words slowly fell out of his mouth.

‘I’m just not very good at this... anymore’ He just shakes his head, deciding not to push the subject any further again, However you could tell how confused he was.

He dropped me back at my flat after the meal. Flashing me a large grin as we pulled up. I enjoyed the ride home. His car isn't what you'd expect, it's a lot cleaner.

‘You know I’m going to crack you Soph, I’m going to find out why you’re so guarded’ He looks at me with an uneasy smile’ I just nod as he gently kisses my check and drives off in his flash range rover. His lingering pink lips leave me tingling.

I let myself back into the house. Of course it’s empty. Daisy has probably gone out drinking. I sat down on the sofa and was in awe of this guy. He was so feisty and as soon as he’s alone with me. He’s so gentle and kind. His voice is slow and raspy. He’s so enrapturing and I couldn’t even begin to comprehend. However there's a voice inside my head, creeping out from my subconcious telling me to run, as fast as I can.

That's exactly what I'm going to do.

I’ve never allowed myself to be in this position. And for the first time in a while, falling asleep I wake up screaming to the returning nightmares.
