Chapter 6

"Um, sure." Simon says sitting on the bottom stair. I twiddle my thumbs and nervously look at the ground. "Vik." Simon says causing me to look up at him. "Are you going to tell me or just stand there, mate?"

"Simon, I honestly don't know how you'll react but, but I decided I should tell you about this thing about me, and y-yeah, I jus-" I start rambling.

"Vik. Calm down. You can tell me, we're mates. I won't judge you." Simon reassures me, looking at me with a small smile. I try to give him back a smile but I fail miserably and feel the tears flood my eyes already.

"Look, Simon. I get it, if you are upset with me or don't want to talk to me." I pause and look at the ground again. "B-but I like a guy. Like, like-like a guy." I stutter. I cautiously look up at Simon's face and see that he just has a blank face.

"And?" Simon asks. I look at him with a surprised face and he starts laughing. "Vik, did you really think, oh because you're gay, I would stop talking to you and kick you out of the house?" He says chuckling. I smile a little.

"Yeah sort of." I say while rubbing the back of my neck. Now I feel pretty stupid for doubting Simon.

"Dude, why would I care? You're my friend!" Simon says facepalming. I laugh a little.

"I guess, I overreacted. I just, I don't know." I mumble. Simon stands up and puts his hand on my shoulder and gives me a broad smile.

"You're still Vik, aren't you? And that's all that matters Vik. I wouldn't stop talking to you or kick you out of the house because you're gay, mate! Plus, you're helping to pay the rent." He jokes. "But I'm serious Vik, I'm fine the way you are. But did you ever tell the rest of the Sidemen? Or am I the first one to know?"

"You're the first one out of everyone I know, to know that I like a guy. And I was going to tell the other guys before you guys left but I was too nervous. So I only told one of you, which was you." I say sheepishly. He looks at me with a curious look.

"Is it Lachlan?" Simon smirks. I blush and look at him with wide eyes.

"H-how'd you know?" I ask him amazed. Was it that obvious?

"Just guessed. So it is Lachlan." Simon confirmed. I nod my head a little feeling shocked. "That's cute." Simon says giving me a cheeky smile. I flip him off and chuckle.

"Whatever." I mumble.

"Soo?" Simon says standing up. "He's coming over here, isn't he? So are you going to you know, tell him about this?"

"I honestly don't know, Simon! What-what do I do?" I say cradling my head in my hands.

"Look man, honestly. I think you should tell him, you may never know, he could have feelings for you too." Simon says patting me on the back. I quickly jerk my head up and stare at him like he's crazy!

"Are you nuts? Simon, I don't even know if he's gay! Or bi! But still, I don't know!" I say.

"But Vik, you'll never know! You've got to go for it." Simon nodded. The front door then opens and in comes JJ. 

"For f*cks sake Simon! What are you doing? Hurry the hell up, mate! We've got places to go man!" JJ yells.

"Okay, okay, JJ! Just give me a sec, I'll be in the car in a minute." Simon says.

"Fine." JJ says walking out of the house again. Simon looks at me and gives me comforting smile and I smile back at him. Then he pulls me into a hug, which catches me caught off guard. 

"Good luck, Vik. Don't chicken out, man." He then pats my back a few times and finally pulls away. "Take care of the house Vik! Bye!" Simon says in his cheery voice walking near the door.

"Simon." I mumble and he turns around. "Thanks." I then give him a geniune smile. He then smiles back and with that he leaves the house.

I lay in my bed waiting for the guys to come to the house. Mitch, Jerome, and Rob should be here in a few minutes, Preston will get here in 30 minutes, and Lachlan said he's close to the house. So he could show up at anytime now.

Then I hear an expected knock on the door and rush down the stairs. I then brush my bangs back and open the door with a smile. When I open the door in comes Rob, Mitch, and Jerome.

"Hey, what's up man!" Rob yells while giving me a big hug. "This is the first time, I've seen you in person, dude! And must I say, you are even more gorgeous in person!" Mitch, Jerome, and I laugh. We all greet eachother and hug. And the guys start to head to the living room.

I then start to shut the door but a hand stops the door, and when I open it again, I see a blond, blue-eyed, freakishly tall, adorable Australian giving me a cheeky smile.

Ooo, so now the Pack (besides Preston but will next chapter) are in Vik's house! And they still have Secrert Santa to do! Who do you think Vik will get? ;) Byee!
